Amazing vacation!
Our family had the most amazing vacation! Exuma is beyond fabulous, but so was the Bahama Island House. Check-in was smooth, the house was immaculate, the pool was perfect! But the view was probably our favorite part. We used the kayaks almost daily for exploring. The kitchen had everything you need to cook meals. Jack and his team were super helpful with suggestions of places to go and things to do. We can't wait to go back and would definitely stay in this house again!

Beautiful Home
Our family enjoyed staying in this gorgeous home! We cooked most of our meals and the kitchen had all the supplies we needed! The blender was broken and Luke delivered a new one the next day! The open living space over looking the beautiful water was just what we needed after a Long Beach day! We loved being able to use the kayaks to visit "The Cut"!

AMAZING property and host
We were debating between this house and another and we are so happy we chose Jack and this amazing property. We were greeted months prior to arrival with all the information and details we could have possibly needed. Then a week prior again with more details for arrival. Once on the island Luke the property manager greeted us with a smile and our groceries at the time we were r arrive at the house. The house was clean, comfortable and pictures were as shown. We had a terrible rain storm think like over your knees in town in some low spots. And when we arrived home due to the wind and rain some leaks were in the living room. Jack was on it with a trustworthy contractor out the next day and for our inconvenience (which there really was none) 2 bottles of wine showed up. When my husband had an ear ache he was right on the ball with recommendations and when we were thinking our flight might be canceled (it was not) he was on the ball with trying to help. I can’t say enough about this host and this house. It was everything. The only thing that I can say bad was my preference of mattress is very soft and these were not. However that is just personal preference and nothing that messed up my trip at all. They were not terrible by any means.

Family Beach Vacation
The views from this house are incredible. We had a fabulous time with my parents and our two children. There is plenty of space for all of us. We enjoyed all of the thoughtful amenities and we definitely would choose this home again. Forbes beach was great and all the recommendations of the owner were spot on. You won’t be disappointed when you book this wonderful place.

This was our first time to the island and we loved it. It was really nice being close to all the beaches on little Exuma. My kids loved having the pool to come back to at the end of the day after exploring. The house was very well equipped and any question we had was answered. We were provided with so much valuable information before even checking in which helped a ton with planning! Highly recommend!

Great Week in Paradise
We had a group of 6 stay for a week at the end of May. This was our second time to stay near Little Exuma and the Ferry. The house was very clean and had all of the necessities for cooking, beach towels, floats, kayaks, beach chairs etc. all the beds and linens were comfortable. The view is amazing. We enjoyed staying on the sound side of the island this time. Having a pool overlooking the water was a nice addition as well. We made it over to the Cut and enjoyed the Lazy River with the kayaks. Also, went fly fishing for bone fish and tarpon every morning and was able to hook up with 2 tarpon. We enjoyed pretty molly beach and Forbes beach, just a mile or 2 south of the house. We also did a pig and thunderball grotto tour with Sugar Adventures and rented a boat from Minn’s to explore the harbor (highly recommend doing this). It was a wonderful stay and we look forward to coming back!

Literally Paradise!
We rented this house with friends for a week for my 40th birthday celebration and we cannot say enough good things about the house! It’s stocked with anything and everything you can think of and it’s decorated so beautifully. It is very clean and the beds are comfortable. There are plenty of kayaks, snorkel gear, beach chairs, umbrellas, beach towels and everything in between. The location is perfect, in a quiet area, and photos do not do the beach/ water justice. The owner, Jack, will go out of his way to make sure you’re loaded with information about the island and the house! We cannot wait to return to this beautiful home. Jessica Testerman

Great Spring Break!!!
The adults & kids had a great time staying at The Bahama Island House. From the time of booking & throughout our stay communication was outstanding. Jack & his team were very responsive to anything we needed & were very helpful as it related to suggestions / recommendations. The house was loaded with everything you need - kitchen supplies, coolers, beach chairs, snorkling gear, life jackets, kayaks & more. The water access & having a dock made the boat & jet ski rental a lot of fun. Being able to explore places like Stocking Island & Sand Bars via boat / ski made the Exuma experience that much better.

Awesome Stay!
Traveled with a group of 10, including 6 kids 12 and under. This house and location provided us experiences that will last a lifetime! From the house we had easy access to beautiful beaches that often times we had to ourselves. We used the kayaks on day one to go to the Cut or Lazy River which set the tone for our trip. Also had quick access to Forbes beach and the Tropic of Cancer beach. Both were breathtaking! When chilling at the house the kids rotated between the kayaks, pool, and fishing from the dock. Browns marina is a short drive away in which we did a boat tour and a fishing trip. This location is pretty remote but offers all you need. The beds and huge couch were comfortable. Make sure to wear shoes on the deck, if you run around you will get a splinter! We grilled multiple nights and really enjoys sitting out on the dock at night! Great house and an even better location!

Very nice
Overall great house and property. Decorated nicely, living room and back porch great, and great kitchen well stocked supplies. Nice to have a dock and we rented a boat, though its very shallow behind house. Only thing we were surprised was the bathrooms were all jack and jill shared between rooms. (Except one hall half bath). And the water behind the house had a lot of mangrove jellyfish so just be aware of that. So we didnt spend as much time in that water. Short drive via boat or car to ocean side amazing beaches.

First trip to the Bahamas
Our family had an amazing week at The Bahama Island House, the house and location surpassed all our expectations. The kids loved the pool and feeding the fish off the end of the dock. You can’t beat the location- we loved being away from the noise of town and the view never gets old. The house was clean, plenty of room for everyone, a well stocked kitchen- really no reason to leave! Jack and his crew are above and beyond helpful with great communication. We can’t wait to return.

Guys Fishing Trip
We had a blast fishing in the Exumas for our annual guys fishing trip. The house has everything we needed to make the trip a success. We took the kayaks out and did some snorkeling in front of the house. The house was very clean and the pool was refreshing after a day on the ocean. I have stayed in lots of VRBOs and I can say that Jack is the best host I’ve ever had. He was extremely responsive, gave great recommendations, and was very helpful in making our trip a success. Would highly recommend this property!!

Stunning sunsets and beautiful water views
Thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Used the kayaks daily. The dock was perfect for renting jet skis. House was clean, well furnished and equipped. Enjoyed the pool and deck. Fantastic communication from the owner and property manager, before and during our stay. Only downside was the no-see-ums (bugs) at night. Limited our time outdoors after the sunset. Will definitely consider returning.

Best Stay by far!
We have been to Exuma over a handful of times and Bahama Island House is are favorite stay by far. The home is fully equipped. The kitchen has everything you could need to cook, bake, or grill. The bathrooms are stocked with toiletries. The bedrooms have smart TVs and comfy beds (kings for the adults and a bunk room for the kids). The living room couch is so comfortable to unwind, after a day of adventuring. The house came with beach chairs,towels, snorkel gear, coolers, life jackets, kayaks and even kid kayaks.

Perfect Getaway
I recently had the pleasure of staying at the Bahama Island House in Exuma, and I must say, it exceeded all my expectations. From the moment I arrived, I was impressed by the cleanliness and attention to detail throughout the property. The house itself was immaculate, It was evident that the owners take great pride in maintaining a high standard of cleanliness. I felt instantly at ease and comfortable in such a pristine environment. The location of the Bahama Island House was also a major highlight. Situated in a great spot, it offered both convenience and tranquility. It was a a 10 min drive away from the mesmerizing tropic of cancer beach, where we spent many hours soaking up the sun and enjoying the crystal-clear waters. Additionally, the house was close to various local attractions and amenities, making it easy to explore the beauty of Exuma. One of the standout features of the Bahama Island House was the fact that it had everything I needed for a comfortable stay. The kitchen was fully equipped with modern appliances, allowing me to prepare meals with ease. The living area was cozy and inviting, perfect for relaxing after a day of adventure. The bedrooms were spacious and provided a peaceful retreat at the end of each day. It was evident that the owners had thoughtfully considered the needs of their guests. They have provided us with an unforgettable week, this was our 8th time to the island and this is by far our favorite stay.

Spectacular Property in the Real Bahamas
What a fantastic home! We have visited several areas of the Bahamas, and prefer to stay “off the beaten path” - and this home delivers the best of all worlds! About a 30 drive from the airport, with great local restaurants close by and the best beaches - that we had all to ourselves! The kayaks are topline, we kayaked daily through the lazy River - what a treat! It’s surreal. And the house itself, is fantastic - from the great layout, to the chef’s kitchen to the big beautiful family area with priceless views - can’t beat it! Thank you Jack and team, can’t wait to come back.

Stunning property on the bay side
My husband and I are frequent visitors to Exuma as it’s unmatched beauty has our hearts plus it’s a quick hope over from florida! This was our first time staying on the bay side! Please do not let this detour you as it is not ocean front but boy does it have its advantages!! Absolutely stunning property, like your own little island! We spent a lot of time in the private backyard, pool, water and dock sitting under the coconut trees and enjoying fresh coconut water and meat in the shade of the beautiful trees! There is an abundance of kayaks for you to enjoy to go to the lazy river which was on our list to do! The property is new renovated with top notch everything you could imagine that you may need! Internet you ask? They have Starlink which is unmatched and we were highly impressed! There is also a generator which if you are not familiar, these out islands often experience power outages so this is HUGE! The power went out at 6am the day we were loading the car to leave and boy were we glad when that generator kicked on! This beautiful house was very carefully planned out and is wonderful for couples or families! It was just my husband and I this trip but would absolutely bring our children to enjoy it! There’s 4 bedrooms and one has double bunk beds and pullouts so this house could sleep 12 easily! The views are amazing and we are so very pleased with our choice in this property! The owners & mgt are so responsive, like immediately which is so important and appreciated!❤️

Exuma is our favorite!
Our family loved being Exuma and LOVED our time at Bahamas Island House! We loved the layout for our family and the comforts of home provided. The kitchen was definitely outfitted for our breakfasts and several dinners we cooked at the house. It was a fun kitchen to cook in looking out at the gorgeous view. We enjoyed the spacious family room seating for movie nights and afternoon naps after being in the sun. Beds and linens were comfortable and we don’t take that for granted…..no one wants to sleep poorly on vacation. The laundry room (so crucial at the beach) was so nicely appointed and had high capacity washer and dryer. The house also had soft sided coolers we could use for beach days, plenty of snorkel gear, life vests, and portable umbrellas. All of these things were awesome to have and not have to travel with, Every question we had was answered immediately and suggestions on activities were sent and spot on! We loved having the kayaks to explore and loved our day at The Cut and Lazy River….super accessible via kayak from this house which is a major plus! Our kids loved fishing from the dock and observing Exuma ocean life right at our back door. This trip goes down in the books as a top favorite for our family and we will be sure to pass along to friends who want to come. We hope to be back soon! Bahamas Island House was the perfect home away from home!!

Great Property
Beautiful home and super well equipped. Kitchen has absolutely everything you need. House has kayaks, beach chairs, umbrellas and snorkel gear which was perfect. Rent a boat and explore! House owner was extremely responsive and had great suggestions for dinners, outings and all questions. Bring baby oil for the noseeums which can be annoying. Bring lettuce to feed the turtles and grapes for iguanas! Dena’s Donuts is a great personal chef and caterer - most amazing dinners (and of course donuts). Really perfectly situated by beautiful beaches and restaurants. Enjoy!

Awesome views and property
We had the best time in the perfect house. The owner was awesome in providing rental car info, excursions and any other info we requested. Property manager was very attentive to any request we had. The house is set up with most everything you need and the pool is the perfect spot to lounge after a full day. It’s set up with plenty of lounge chairs also. The beach area is perfect for your own private little beach and also to set off in the 8 plus kayaks located on the property. A kayak trip under the bridge to The Cut and the lazy River are a must. Overall we had a great trip and would definitely return to Exuma and this wonderful house.

Awesome Property
We rented this beautifully remodeled home in Litte Exuma for nine days. The house was well supplied with top notch towels, appliances, utensils, comfortable furniture, central air and was very quiet. The pool was spectacular and the only downside was the bugs because of mangroves. Beautiful views from open living area and deck. We were fortunate that the home was on the smaller island as we discovered the most beautiful beaches were located there. These beaches are unspoiled with only a small amount of residential development. Pretty Molly and Tropic of Cancer were our favorites. Each has a fine rustic Bahamian restaurant nearby that comes in handy after a morning of swimming and sunbathing. It was our good fortune that the home was minutes away. The home is situated on the bay side of the island adjacent to the best bone fishing flats on the island. Our guide could simply pick us up in his flats boat from the newly constructed dock. Our children would enjoy the small but dazzling pool on the deck above the dock, sometimes swimming several times a day. As dining out is very expensive on the island, we enjoyed cooking in the state of the art kitchen, complete with new first rate appliances. Although the bath rooms were small jack and Jill configurations, they were adequate. Exhausted after many hours of play we slept comfortably on the fine new beds.

Awesome Views
Highly recommend staying here. We had a great time staying at this property. The floor to ceiling windows that show the beautiful views as you walk in is breathtaking. Everything you need is provided if we had any questions Jack and team were always readily available to assist. If you’re looking for a relaxing and quiet getaway this is the place for you.

Well appointed home for a quiet and relaxing getaway!
This home is newly furnished and has literally everything you could need. You can tell that the hosts thoughtfully put all new pots, pans, knives, dishes etc for their guest's comfort. The kitchen is beyond well equipped, the linens and towels are new and the furniture is comfortable! We traveled with our kids and my inlaws and we all had enough room and privacy, it was great! The house was very, very clean which was greatly appreciated. The view is beautiful and its a pleasure to wake up here each morning. You'll love the house, just be sure to double check location that its not too quiet for you as Little Exuma is only pure rest and relaxation! We would definitely love to return again to this beautiful home.
