”Really friendly little pub with decent selection of ales. The room was spotless and cosy with an immaculate ensuite with plenty of toiletries,so I dont understand the grumpy reviews that people have given for a single room as the clue is in the name. Friendly locals in pub, even got offered to buy a drink and the breakfast was cracking. Not posh but I like that as the place was full of character and characters. I would definitely stay here again if I needed to. Lovely to see a place that is not...

Pity next door restaurant is still shut. Price for our dog was £15, which I think is high. Stayed here a few times and will again.”

”What a lovely place. The hosts were super friendly and helpful. Breakfast was fantastic. There was everything from cereal to full english. Cooked to order, and was delicious The room was clean and well equipped. Comfy bed. Snacks were a lovely touch. George the resident cat was friendly. 🐈 We went to the local pub to eat in the evening. 10 mins walk away. It was busy but they got us a table. :) They werent serving food but was a chippy van outside that you could take into the pub to eat. Huge...

”Arrived early and managed to get a space in the car park, one of our rooms was ready which was great. The other room was ready a little later but still earlier than check-in time. Check was smooth and straightforward, don't forget to put reg no. in the machine at check-in desk. We sat outside and ordered food and drinks and had a lovely day. Our room was at the front overlooking the street which only became an issue at closing time, when everyone left but seemed to hang around outside talking...
