”Might be best hotel for Hilo, get OCEAN FRONT WITH LANAI”

”This was amazing! Great staff, great location AND there's even a swimming hole (5 min walk, if that) with a waterfall! I've never stayed in a shared house before, but this one has spoiled me! It's close enough to be able to drive to all the good tourist spots. Oh, and hopefully you're there for the "big" farmers market on Saturdays. If I get back to the Big Island I'll be coming back here! Thank you for the great time!”

”Had a nice stay here in Hawi without completely breaking the bank, tho I do miss the old funky hotel that used to be a brothel. This was considerably more comfy, if pricier. Still a decent price. Nice people, right around the corner from the main area of shops in town so coffee and meals were simple. Great option.”

”We enjoyed staying here. As a big cat lover I was pleased of the friendly cats they had. The only negative side was the noise which started between 7-8am on mornings. We stayed in unit number 1 so I think that the staff started their day in the room next to ours. Also a sponge for dishes in the room would be nice to have - now we had to borrow it from the kitchen. ”

”Family run inn on the second floor of a historic building. Newly renovated rooms with A/C, comfy bed, and easy self-checkin. It was perfect for our one night stay in downtown Hilo.”

”I booked the room by the pool. I loved that the room, pool, and laundry were right next to each other. Made it so easy to wash and pack on my last day. Plus, the restaurant next to the hotel had the best fried rice 😋”

”We got everything we asked for and needed, but happened to be there during their restaurant remodel. Listening to jackhammers in the lobby isn’t very relaxing. I’m sure my 4/5 ratings would go 5/5 once they’re done.”

”I liked the atmosphere of the place. Very close to the Boys and Girls( my grandson played baseball there). The only thing I didn’t like was parking reverse in. Other than that perfect! Even the roosters and koki frogs didn’t bother me!”

”Beautiful hotel.We noticed a great deal of attention to detail.The animals were wonderful.Setting was peaceful.There was one issue.I asked the day before arrival if I could check in at 2 since we had an excursion starting at 4.Josh was at a graduation but we called him and he was able to give us the code.We dropped off our things and left.We returned at 11 pm and noticed the room had only 1 bed.We registered as a group of 3.There were only 2 towels.I didn't want to bother anyone so late so my...

”We had an enjoyable stay, we were received by Kelly with fresh delicious muffins, the house was very clean and comfortable and the breakfast was excellent, each day was a different menu with fresh baked muffins, fresh fruit, juice, coffee or late and attention to detail. Kelly was very hospitable and she made us feel like home. I recommend a stay here ”
