”The staff was very helpful and accommodating during our stay. It's 10 minutes from downtown which was convenient for us to visit family. The rooms are as expected in a motel but the beds are comfortable for a no frills stay. It really is the best option for Old Saybrook for reasonable price. It is right off I-95 but the double paned windows they put in keep the highway noise low. I couldn't hear it at night. I highly recommend the Liberty Inn.”

”I greatly enjoyed my weekend getaway. Al was very professional and polite and even upgraded my room. It was very clean and I loved the aesthetic of the hotel. It felt like staying at a relatives house. It is located in nature and I experienced being within a few feet of deers on the property, which was a beautiful sight. I will definetly be back.”

”The owner was so helpful and friendly. When our car wouldn't start due to a dead battery, he called a friend to drive over to give us a jump (since the owner's car was a hybrid and he couldn't access his battery). The grounds are beautifully landscaped with lots of blooming trees and flowers. It's very conveniently located with a great cafe across the street.”

”We requested a room on the first floor. They provided us with a handicapped accessible room. The ramp from our room went right to the handicapped parking area. It was so nice to be able to unload everything from our vehicle into our room. We were within walking distance of a Big Y grocery store, a Kohls department store and a Five Guys restaurant.”

”Small motel, friendly proprietors, sufficient space in the room, fridge, microwave, heater – all work. Hot water also sufficient. A basic "value for money" place. Nothing fancy, but adequate for spending the nights, while the days are in the towns or on the beach. ”
