”This is a great hotel because it has great staff. Could not had better service from start to finish. Delicious breakfast and comfy bed. Lighting in room could have been better but would highly recommend.”

”Birthday trip, staff were friendly and efficient, accommodation was clean and comfortable, we had room service for dinner and this was delivered promptly and was hot and tasty. The lakeside room was quiet and had lovely view over lake with only ducks, swans, geese, herons and Cormorants for company!”

”Unfortunately they are renovating the restaurant so limited menu in the bar. Also had to change lunch to another restaurant as they were drilling so too noisy. This will be finished in a few days though, and as I have stayed here before I know this is not normal and I will certainly continue to stay at the Priory and would recommend it. ”

”Nice friendly pub. Room was basic but clean with a kettle and plenty of tea and coffee. Breakfast was a bit disorganised as there was no menu as such and it was difficult to find out what was available. Good if you like a full English breakfast but otherwise poor. ”

”We loved the pool and spa area and the staff were really friendly and helpful. The decor is somewhat tired but we did have a nice bright room with opening windows and adjustable radiators, which is always a plus. The breakfast was dull, basic bread, all the hot dishes precooked and sitting on top of heaters, lukewarm. The coffee was ok. It would have been lovely to have some local produce, real bread rolls etc.”
