”The cottage is cute and has everything you need to enjoy some time away from the busyness and stress of life. The area is quiet and full of friendly people. Turk Lake Inn served delicious food and had friendly wait staff. My husband enjoyed catching and releasing the fish and the kayaks were nice and easy to take around the lake. My girls managed to get out in rafts to swim in the middle of the lake a bit. We loved it and will definitely be back! Thank you for sharing your cottage.”

There were many issues, but here are the top 3: Old and uncomfortable beds Too noisy inside (very loud fan blower on furnace) and outside (highway traffic) Musty odors and sulfur water odors As we heavily rely on reviews, we did not heed our own advice as we were lured in by that river view and the assumption that it would be quiet. ”This property is such a gem that we plan on going back! Situated on a slight incline to the lake, the view from the cottage is spectacular. Clean, stocked with linens and kitchen supplies, grill, plenty of outdoor space with seating. Two kayaks for renters' use. The check-in process was seamless. Pat was readily available for any/all questions and so accommodating and friendly. Don't miss this little oasis. It's worth every cent!”

”This was our third annual family stay at Derby Lodge. We are a large group, ranging in age from 6 to 85, and everyone loves the house and the lake. We love to swim, fish, kayak, and paddle board. We caught lots of bass and bluegill from the dock and out on the pedal boat. Lake is crystal clear with sandy shallow entry. Not much boat traffic, so kids can swim and paddle safely. ”The host Nancy stays in a camper a few feet from the front door of your rental which would have been nice to know but, there were no issues. It’s a newly updated cottage. It’s very clean and cozy. Grandpa enjoyed his morning coffee relaxing and reflecting while looking at the lake. Would recommend and revisit. Thank you Nancy!”

I would not consider Living room and a sun room without AC 2 additional bedrooms. The kayaks, paddle boat, and hot tub was keeping us entertained. Would definitely stay again.”
