”Charming little hotel right on Saratoga Lake. Format is an old-style "tavern on the bottom, small rooms above" configuration. The room was snug and outfitted in a clean, updated Colonial fashion. Didn't give 5 stars for service, not because it was bad, but it was essentially self-check and stay. Lovely to wake up to the lake outside our window. A couple of caveats that might affect your choice. The rooms are small (at least ours was), so don't plan on spreading your stuff out. If you can't...

”The apartment was adequate for our stay in the Albany area to attend my niece's wedding. There was plenty of room and the apartment was clean. The owners are in the process of renovating so at this time there is work that needs to be done. We would have liked to spend time in the yard and build a campfire down by the river but there was some construction going on in the back of the house. Overall, it was a nice stay and will likely be even nicer when the renovations are complete.”
