”We were given very little information when we checked in. We were not told that a restaurant was available for dinner so we were too late to make a reservation that night. They advertise on the beach, but the beach is sand only, no water access. Just rocks like the coast of Maine. There is a definite lack of help in the restaurant in the morning. ”Such a rip-off price for a dirty room. We took our shoes away right as we enered the room. We could feel that the floor was not cleaned for some time with sand and dust on the floors. At shower there was no shower gel no shampoo nor conditioner. They ongly offer one soap bar and small body lotion. Location is next to highway so you can hear all the cars inside. Never again.”

”Grassy Flats resort is a beautiful, private, secluded property. We felt so relaxed here. There is not much of a “beach” area but seeing the high and low tide reveal the “grassy flats” was so cool. ”Nice safe place. Grounds could use some better upkeep. Had to ask to have the garbage emptied by the water, but gave them credit for having it done when I mentioned it. Never filled up the fish food which would have been fun to try. Island Fish Co was within walking distance. Had two nice dinners there and a good breakfast. Prices were fair for a restaurant on the water. The little community behind it has a small “Sunset beach” which is apparently a public beach and was nice.”

Online check in did not work well and the lady i dealt with when i arrived spoke zero English, although she did get me checked in and showed me to my cottage.
