”Me and my boyfriend had a good stay at this property. It has parking for anyone hiring a car. The host was great, offering breakfast and lifts if needed. There was a language barrier but anyone who is not Spanish can just use google translate and it is easy enough. We had full use of his flat including the kitchen etc. Cheaper alternative to hotels and a nicer option than hostels. ”

”We have really enjoyed our week just outside Selfoss. The cabin was cosy and equipped with all the essentials, and an excellent base to explore southern Iceland from. We even got to see the Northern Lights from just outside the cabin! Petra was an accessible, friendly and super helpful host, she kindly went above and beyond to help us when our flight was cancelled due to a bad storm. We would highly recommend!”

”Wir waren jetzt bereits mehrfach bei Maja zu Gast, weil einfach alles passt. Haus, Umgebung, nette Gastgeberin (die Kommunikation mit Maja ist unkompliziert und schnell), Tips zu Ausflügen und eine persönliche Begrüßung. Man ist fast im Nirgendwo, aber dennoch ist alles in der Nähe. ”

”Everything about this charming home and its hosts was an absolute delight. Nestled atop a hill, you get lovely views when seated in multiple spots around the house. There is a wonderful 360° viewpoint a short walk from the home, and its central location makes it a breeze to get anywhere by bus or car. Me and my family were able to many meals at home in the well appointed kitchen, utilizing local meats and produce. We are all looking forward to the next visit we will make, and are sure to be...
