”Très bel endroit. Chambre petite surtout avec des bagages mais propre et confortable. Petit-déjeuner sous forme de toasts, yaourts, pommes et céréales en libre service. Thé, café et jus de fruit à se préparer dans la cuisine commune. Pas de contact avec les hôtes. Nous sommes restés 2 jours et le café était fermé. Dommage !”

Breakfast was great to start you off and the pool and gym are a bonus. Location good for walks and facilities in the town. We would come back for another stay if in Forfar”

”Could not recommend this accommodation enough - a real hidden gem! Massive, secure 2 bedroom apartment in a wider bunkhouse complex which was, when we stayed, not occupied. Only 5 mins drive from Kirriemuir and so quiet and peaceful - in the heart of the countryside. Comms were great and all mod cons throughout including WiFi, TVs in all rooms and even a starter hamper! Will definitely book again. The dog loved the outdoor space which is literally ‘on your doorstep’! A+”

”We stayed here for 5 nights and were greeted by a lovely card with details of local events. Communication was excellent and the hosts were lovely local people, we had easy access if we required any assistance. Access to the property was simple as was parking. This gorgeous little two bedroom apartment had everything we needed for our stay, it felt like home rather than a hotel. ”Had a fantastic stay, the accommodation was spotless. Great private garden with hot tub. Owner Alan was fantastic, showed me round the property, was shown how hot tub worked. Everything was provided to make it a lovely relaxing holiday. Plenty nice cafes and shops in edzell to get everything needed. Great base for travelling round and visiting nearby towns. Bed was so comfy, it was warm when I stayed but the bothy was lovely and cool. Will definitely be back for another visit. Best relaxing...

”Wir haben eine Woche in "the old laundry" Urlaub gemacht. Die Lage ist idyllisch, direkt an einem Fluss gelegen und mitten in der Wildnis! Auf sechs Meilen gibt es keinen Handy- oder Internetempfang, man ist also von der Außenwelt abgeschnitten und kann ganz die Natur genießen. Leider waren beim Check-In keine Handtücher da, weshalb wir noch einmal bis Dykehead fahren mussten, um den Vermieter zu erreichen. Die Wohnung war im März sehr kalt und es hat lange gebraucht, bis der kleine Ofen heiß...
