”We stayed over Christmas and it worked perfectly that they had a Christmas tree up so we still had a festive holiday away from home.The kitchen was well equipped, beds comfortable, and the hot tub was a great way to enjoy the chilly December temps! Quiet neighborhood & we felt safe.Communication with the host was great! ”

”This home is spotless, recently updated and convenient to the activities of La Crosse. Our stay was brief, but it was nice to have a comfortable and clean place to stay where we could look out at the river and relax in the evenings was appreciated. A note - the listing indicates fireplace, but I believe that is an error. There were smoke and carbon monoxide detectors in the home.”

”We came to unwind and relax and this home is perfect for that. Large windows overlook the water. Eagle watching and fireworks were the highlights. The neighbors were so quiet we didn't even know they were there. The beds were comfortable with plenty of pillows and blankets on hand. We didn't use the kitchen much, so not sure how well stocked it is. Very clean.This was our third stay and I've already booked the next.”

”Pictures are accurate. The kitchen needs a little updating but worked out just fine. Well stocked. If you're planning on staying here in the summer be weary of all the insects from the river. We were not able to use the firepit or the grill because there were too many flies everywhere. The property around the house can use a little cleaning/sprucing up. ”

”My husband, pup, and I enjoyed our stay at this cozy cabin! When we arrived, the place was warm from the fireplace and had those instant cozy vibes. The place is probably the cleanest rental that we've ever booked! Loved the rocking chairs. And the attention paid to little details was really nice--from the white noise machine in the bedroom to the dog bowls for your pup in the kitchen. It was also really nice having a decent-sized fridge and a mini stovetop! Some people have noted train noise...

Fun little bars in town if you wish to step out ... had a blast. Ran down to the meat market across the border in IA, and that was a hoot!
