”Alright my mother is 74 and aunt 68 and in good shape but hauling our luggage 6 flights of stairs was a challenge. Just be prepared to pack an overnight bag and you'll be happier. You have to make reservations for the pool but the view was amazing. ”

”Unique location ...close to Loch Ness boat tours, gas station/grocery about 2 blocks away and variety of restaurants. I recommend The Bothy for dinner. If you have anyone in your party with mobility issues....up multiple flights of stairs...you should move on. Communication was great and arrival instructions clear. Combo washer and dryer was the only negative experience we had...instructions were left but had never used one before and couldn't get the hang of it....surely my error.”

”We spent Christmas in Oak Cottage and it could not have been a more wonderful stay. Veronica was a communicative and helpful host from the get go and really went the extra mile by putting up some Christmas decorations up for us before we arrived. The cottage is just a little bit down the road from Beauly, so it's easy to get to as long as you have a car. The cottage itself is spacious and well-equipped with everything you'd need. You can also say hello to the animals on Veronica's croft which...

”Jackie and Keith were lovely hosts who made sure i had everything I needed for my week-long hiking trip to Loch Ness: a strong hearty breakfast every morning, comfortable room to come home to, daily chekins and timely weather forecast and information on their favourite local trails. Location-wise, 5 stars! I especially enjoyed walking across the street to the Visitor Center for tour bookings, was within a stone throw of Nessie exhibition center, and drove out to do 360 trails around Loch Ness...

”Loved the cottage Red Deer. We have stayed in the one bedroom before Brochure. Settee was a bit uncomfortable. No hairdryer although listed as having one, so had to go and buy a travel hairdryer. Disappointed that there wasn’t any hand soap provided in the bathroom Apart from that we would come back as it is very spacious. ”

”We missed the turning as postcode didnt take us to the Bothie direct, but as soon as we saw the Laggan Lock sign right by the bus stop we never missed it. The place was easy to get the keys with the key code. The room its self was not like you see in the photos, which looks all cute and colourful.... and also not much room.
