”Marco and Ilaria were so lovely! They welcomed us with a delicious homemade cake and a pizza from their own oven that was unbelievably delicious. That evening we sat comfortably with them in the garden and ate pizza. Marco and Ilaria also gave us great tips for excursions. Their dog Dora is so sweet. She comes to greet you in the garden every day. She got on really well with our old dog. The house is magical and leaves nothing to be desired. The view and the garden are indescribably beautiful...

”During our stay in La Spezia, we did not have a rental car, which meant that for us, the walk to go downtown took about 30 minutes or more which we were not aware of. If you have a car to use, then it's a close drive! Just be aware if you are walking, it's a far walk to downtown and it's a LOT of uphill walking.”

”We really enjoyed our stay here. It was easy to get to with minimal stairs from the train station. It was really nice having the patio with a view of the sea. The place has a wonderful aesthetic that really suits the property. There are tight stairs up to the bedroom level so we opted to leave our luggage in the front room. Wasn't an issue for us. The washroom is also down stairs. So if you have to get up in the middle of the night there are quite a few steps (2 lvls). The trade off is it is...
