”We love being “right on the river” yet in the center of the historic area and really good restaurants. The balcony is very private and it is fun to watch the boats, the birds, the seals. Plus, no noise from the bridge! Tammy (the property host) was very responsive to our questions and very helpful! ”

”Within walking distance of downtown, where all the fun is that! Walking distance to shopping and great restaurants! Beautiful home with great parking! We accidentally left a notebook inside the house with money in it and it was returned to us as we left it. It doesn’t get any better than that! Thank you to the owners and the cleaning person that made sure our belongings were returned to us. Can’t wait to stay there again someday!”

”Well furnished and appointed small condo with pleasant views of the river, some dunes, and forest. Very convenient short walk to old town restaurants, shops and harbor. Good internet. The most basic cable TV with only a handful of channels. We expected there to be road noise from the bridge, but it was more than anticipated, partly due to the recent replacement of the drawbridge portion with metal grate sections (apparently a fair number of people living along the river are complaining about...

”Unable to enter the property, due to "worn out"key. Had to call VRBO many times, got shuffled back and forth. We were in town in plenty of time but because of inability in get in or out of rental missed a get together and dinner. Finally someone arrived to give us a working key at 8PM, check-in was 4PM. The gentleman that "fixed" the key issue lived in Florence! VRBO totally dropped the ballon this one!”

”We had a nice, short stay here on our way up the OR coast. Great location, good size for us (two adults, two 10+ kids), well-appointed with linens and electronics (WiFi and TVs). A couple of minor things could help — a couple of desk chairs, some extra glasses and silverware, a pot/pan or two more — but otherwise worth the price. Beach access is a bonus — found lots of interesting tidepools with starfish and other creatures just north of the property.”

”Our stay was great. Property is in the middle of old town and is right next to the river. Many great restaurants are in easy walking distance. We stayed during the 4th of July weekend and even though downtown was hopping, it's surprisingly quiet after 10pm. Would definitely stay here again!”

”I have notified the owners that I left a couple of items in their rental. A charging cable and an Echo Dot Alexa which was left behind a curtain inside in the living room area. The owners don’t seem like they are very responsive in getting these items back to me! Leaving it up to the cleaning lady to take care of. I will gladly pay postage to have these things mailed to me!
