Sunny Shores Beach House W/ MTN views

Sunny beach house set on almost half an acre with mountain views from own private beach, nestled on a tidal bay bird sanctuary. Depending on the time of year, there will be Bald Eagles catching spawning salmon, local Great Blue Herons, ducks & the odd Otter. Never a dull moment with all the wildlife to watch, with tidal waters changing twice daily.

If you are feeling adventurous, you can enjoy some local hiking, beach combing, swimming or explore the area by water using our canoes & kayak.

Sunset Shores!!
We cannot say enough about this beautiful property along the Fanny Bay shoreline. We found it very clean and well stocked for our stay. The location was perfect for exploring the Comox Valley region. Wild life was all around us including a doe and her two fawns, Blue herring and a black bear. After a busy day of exploring we certainly enjoyed unwinding with a cocktail and watching the sun set over the amazing mountain range.

Serene shoreline retreat
My family had a wonderful time on this serene, beautifully-decorated shore house near to Ships Point in BC. The decor and gardens include many charming improvised touches, and the overall feel is very peaceful, private, and secluded. Bring a SUP or two as the bay is very warm and shallow at high tide. Sandy beaches within a short drive. Highly recommended for families with young children.

Peaceful paradise
We had a wonderful and peaceful stay at the beach house. We enjoyed waking up to the birds every morning and goinf for walka along the beach. Very private and relaxed we will be back again

Great Kayaking get away
The amenties at this place are amazing, everything you could need is provided. Wonderful views of the bay, quiet beach are to relax and the hottub is a in a great location for night time sky viewing. Very quiet neighbourhood with a kayak, paddle board, and canoe readily available. We took our own sea kayaks and although the trail to the water is winding we had no problem getting them down to the shore. Most certainly a great place to unwind and relax. Worth a return visit. Note, we are working seniors so we appreciated the tranquility.

Paradise
Rebecca and Charles where very easy to communicate with and answered emails promptly . Their rental was exceptional with all the comforts of home . They truly thought of everything from the comfortable beds and linen to the well stocked kitchen and even provided shampoo, conditioner and body wash in each bathroom . The location was perfect , very private and an easy walk to Ships Point . We enjoyed the paddle board and kayak during high tide and walking the beaches and shore line during low tide . I especially loved the residential rooster across the bay waking me up every morning and starting my day with a smile . There where four of us on our trip and everyone hated to leave . We enjoyed the mountain views in the morning watching the sun come up illuminating the tree tops in a golden hue and enjoying the warmth from the gas fireplace. The hot tub was a treat after a day of hiking or just exploring the island . This vacation get away is truly five star !

Fantastic getaway
Nice and quiet location. Stayed with a few friends for a snowboarding trip to Mt. Washington which was nearby. Place was clean and comfortable, and the host responded quickly when I had some questions and was very helpful.

An oasis for the ages
Our joy of this place really could not be expressed in words. We absolutely adored it. If you like waking up to mountains, eagles, hummingbirds and the nicest neighbours you could ask for, this is the place for you. The stars are amazing at night and the whole house is much larger than the pictures show it. Our favourite areas were a toss up between the upstairs nook (super cozy and all amenities) and the bird watching downstairs nook. This was our first time in Vancouver island and certainly will not be our last. Wonderful stay!

Very clean and comfortable , very well equipped , especially in the kitchen , anything you need is there ! The house is in an amazing location to watch the water ,mountains and the wildlife .Enjoyed walks in the woods and a fire on the beach ! Thanks for letting us share this lovely place !
