”Overall property is good and king suite ocean facing is really worth price. Unfortunately my stay was short and could not enjoy the view and beach. Only one negative feedback is , Elevator was dirty but since it going through renovations. However the property Manager Suzan and Shanon are excellent. I would stay with family again. ”

”Just ok. For an off season I wasn’t expecting spectacular. Starting with the good/great..location is perfect. Steps away from the boardwalk but also a convenient drive to nearby locations. Beach access, pool, hot tub and outside bar are great amenities! The ok/or just fair review..rooms are bit dated with an “old” smell. The front desk is very unwelcoming. No nice decor to welcome you to the beach. Not convenient to get to being located on the 2nd floor which leads to parking which is...

”We needed a week away from the ice and snow. This was our first trip to the Charleston area. We chose the Tides at Folly beach partially on price and partially on location. We wanted the ocean view and hotel amenities. Folly beach is a nice area with several good restaurants and shops all in walking distance. ”The parking situation needs to be MUCH clearer. I feel the staff should had said that the pricing in garage is very misleading. I ended paying more than 40$ a day and the sign on building says parking will not exceed 24$ a day. The parking is not part of their property and you know it’s a problem because they handed me a piece of paper after the fact that I need to speak to the city ”
