”Our stay was amazing, except the dirty towel that was left from the previous person that stayed there. We tried to track down the cleaning staff but were not able to. We just moved it away from us and moved on. Otherwise our stay was amazing! We look forward to coming back! ”

”Experience at this motel was one of the best that I ever had. Staffing was very nice and helpful. Rooms and other areas were very clean. I would recommend this motel experience. Will stay here again.”

”We liked the hotel, especially the location, the breakfast, and the cocktail hour. One odd thing happened: a member of housekeeping knocked on our door at 8:30 am to tell us that we should check out by 11 am (that has never happened at any other hotel we've stayed in.) At 10 am while we were dressing, she used a key to open our door without knocking. She immediately slammed the door when she saw we were still in the room. It didn't help matters that she was deaf and didn't speak, so it was hard...

”Very nice old house with beautiful details. This place not suitable for people with moving disabilities because of steep stairs. Our room was located closest to the motorway so the noise of heavy traffic kept us awake at night. If you want a good night sleep ask fir a room somewhere futher away from that road. Walking distance to the city. Note that breakfast in the bistro is not totally free. ”

”The place is beautiful and clean, the bed was beyond comfortable, and the staff could not have been more helpful. If you’re visiting Selma to see the Edmund Pettis Bridge, this is the place to stay”
