When we arrived for check-in at 5:30 PM, our room was not ready. As a gesture of apology, we were offered a $25 resort credit and decided to enjoy a glass of sparkling wine at the Canyon Ranch restaurant while waiting. However, we were unable to charge the drinks to our room because, according to the staff, our room number did not yet exist in the system. As a result, we had to pay nearly $60 out-of-pocket, which was frustrating and disappointing.
About 30 minutes later, our room was finally ready. We brought our barbecue ingredients to the grill area, only to find that although the grill turned on, the flame was so weak that we could not properly cook any food. We had no choice but to return to our room and use the induction stove to cook, which filled the room with food odors and made our stay uncomfortable.
Lastky, the dishwasher detergent compatment would't close propwrly, so I couldn't run the dishwash correctly and there was no sponge provided either.
We were truly looking forward to a relaxing and enjoyable experience at your resort, but instead, we were left with a series of inconveniences and unpleasant memories. It is deeply regrettable that what was meant to be a special stay turned into such a disappointing experience.
I reached out to the property via email about this issue, but I have not received a response as of today.
