”We have ridden our bicycles down the Asbury boardwalk for years, and have always wanted to stay at the Berkeley. Its location and architecture are iconic, as is its history! So We stayed there many nights recently, knowing it’s off season. Of course the pool was closed, as was the restaurant. At least the sports bar was (sometimes) open and usually jumping. The staff was excellent, very helpful in many ways. Our room was worth the amazing views up and down the shore! Walking around the boardwalk...

”Thoroughly enjoyed our stay in the Junior Suite (room 3)- which features a private balcony with an ocean view. We spent hours staring out at the sea & enjoyed bringing dinner in from a local spot so we were able to make the most of it. Bernadette responded immediately to inquiries and served up a delightful breakfast (the waffles were tasty). ”This charming inn is located right by the beach in a lovely seaside town. The owners and staff are very friendly. Our room and bathroom were clean, air-conditioned and nicely decorated. Breakfast was delicious and farely varied. This inn as well as the whole city is very peaceful - something to take into account when planning your vacation. Also note that parking is by the streets so it might be a bit tricky to find a spot sometimes during the high season.”

”Check in was very easy. Room was small but clean and had everything we needed. The room was uncomfortably warm at night due to abnormal warm temps outside but the service was great to get a window AC unit put in late at night. Very easy to walk to asbury park and the beach. Nice quiet area. ”

”The staff here was absolutely top-notch. They provided me so much information on dining, activities, etc. the property itself is really a boutique style, which I really love. Such a fun and comfortable lobby. The records and cassettes were a delight to look through. The walkable dining options and proximity to the beach is just fantastic. I even saw an antique car show one evening. I truly enjoyed myself and would highly recommend the Asbury. ”

”The Quaker Inn is a great place to stay; I highly recommend it! It’s located in the heart of Ocean Grove and only a 2-minute walk to many dining options and shopping. Although not large, our room was on the ground floor and super clean! Lovely porches, located on all three floors, face the town’s main commerce street (called Main Ave.). They feature comfortable rocking chairs and small tables, and are a relaxing place to people-watch and sip a glass of wine. The front door is mostly kept locked...

”This hotel was wonderful! It is small but so beautiful on the outside and inside. Emily the manager was so welcoming and friendly! Its only a block and a half walk to the ocean. Would definitely stay here again!”

”Everything was great ! The only thing that wasnt perfect is the beds were a little short. It wasnt too short for me as im 5 foot 9 but my friend is 6 foot 3 and was uncomfortable. Other than that Everything was perfect! ”
