”The property was very nice and cozy. We wanted to chill out for the weekend and that we did. The back room had windows all around. We were able to see a lot of wildlife while we sat at the table drinking our coffee, we used the room manly. We put puzzles together, read books ,,Played on our phones ”

”We liked that it was practical and felt like a home away from home. Some cabins feel like they’re trying to be hotels and that’s fine, but this felt more like a quiet, simplified home. The layout was practical and there were places to hang towels. It made good use of the available space. It’s located away from the busy street and between Tawas and Oscoda, making for a shorter drive to both places. Our only downside was the beds were small (they are listed as double — so I just thought in my head...

”Cabin was nice clean and comfortable for us and our two dogs. The view from the private dock there is an amazing was amazing. Just one thing for those who have dogs who love the water like ours. There is no access to the water on the property, however, the state park is two miles away and there is an amazing dog beach there!”

”Everything was wonderful. Just one pretty minor complaint: the CD player was weird to operate and only one speaker worked. We had a great time. We visited Tuttle Marsh and the River Road on the Au Sable River on our way out, and climbed the lighthouse and hiked all around the edge of the peninsula. The fall colors were at peak for a good portion of our trip up. Thanks very much for making our 40th anniversary a great experience.”

”We loved our stay! The location was perfect if you want to be downtown. There were many amenities that a lot of VRBOs don't include. The coffee bar was a huge feature for us, as was the large dining table we could all gather around. My checklist included a fireplace and a loft. My kids love traveling with a loft. The beds were incredibly comfortable, too!!”

”Nice little place for my husband and I to get away and relax for a night. The hot tub, sauna, and cabin itself are clean and well maintained, and pet friendly is a huge plus! The only negatives are that the couch is quite small and the furnace is very loud while running. Overall, it was a nice cabin and we enjoyed our stay!”
