”The room was quite Ok, but no 4 star hotel”

”3 of us booked single rooms for a stay while seeing Iron Maiden at Knebworth. Didn't want to drive from Sheffield and back the same day as the show. We had left it late to book rooms and this was the lowest priced place anywhere within an hour's drive of the gig. Evening meal was excellent, with lots of choices and drinks well priced (actually lower priced than our local pub). Breakfast also good quality and well priced. Staff very helpful. My rooms TV was broken so owner moved me to another room and offered drinks when another room was not available on my second night. Old pub so floor boards creaky and stairs narrow and steep. ”A super convenient traveller's hotel right next to the station and the DART, my room was very quiet. The hotel had everything I needed, it is great for if you have an early flight the next day. Getting there from London on the Thameslink was also easy.”

”The breakfast was worth having and served 6-10 which was ideal. The accommodation was quite noisy being next to a main road with traffic most of the day and early morning. For anyone visiting with children I would take an extension lead as not enough sockets for the gadgets they might have.”
