Perfect little cottage
We stayed for a week in this lovely house. It is small but beautifully formed with a cosy vibe and equipped with absolutely everything that you might need to ensure it feels like home from home. It is situated right on the shore line so if coming with dogs, like we did, you conveniently step out of the door onto the beach and there are miles and miles of forest tracks in the immediate locality for walking. Life was very simple and relaxing which was exactly what we were looking for and we would definitely be hoping to return at some point in the future

Perfect Little Getaway
Could not have asked for a lovelier stay! The house was extremely well equipped with everything we could possibly need. Also had such a cosy feel. There is lots to do round about and there is a bus that comes once an hour right at the door so we didn’t feel restricted without a car! If you want a cosy stay would 100% recommend! We are already discussing coming back :)

This cottage makes a great base for exploring the Argyll forest and the local area. Host kept us informed, lots of info on the local area in the property. Has a lot of character and everything you need. Would definitely stay here again.

This was my second visit and it did not disappoint. The cottage has great character as well as great views.It's cosy as well as spacious, preventing two adults and 2 dogs from falling over each other. Summer or winter, rain or shine, this is a home from home.

Cosy cottage with amazing views
We loved our stay here. Its close to many lovely walks and there are fantastic views from the cottage windows right across the loch. Enjoyed the many different visiting sea birds and took many photos. We had our dog with us, and although the cottage doesnt have and enclosed outdoor space it wasnt a problem. We could take her along the pathway at the side of the cottge and we could let her off the lead onto the small beach. Kilmun is very picturesque, we would most certainly return. moscrreturn.return.

Het was een fijne plek om te zijn met zicht op Holy Loch door zij en achter raam. Soms legt een veerpont 's avonds aan bij de pier om dan 's ochtends weer te vertrekken.Ook als het weer niet geschikt is om er op uit te gaan kun je het er binnen toch gezellig maken en heb je een prima onderkomen. De sfeer van het huis zelf werkt er ook aan mee. Het voldoet verder aan alles en je hoeft je nergens mee te behelpen.

Wow, this cottage is amazing. Its so quirky, and being right on the pier means fantstic views. You are supplied with everything you need to be able to cook, wash clothes and even towels. Cottage is very quirky and has everything you could possibly need, it's on the bus route to town if you don't drive and the owners have a drawer full of leaflets of what's in and around for people to do. Views in and around the area are superb also.

Wonderful stay in a beautiful property
Very comfortable and enjoyable stay in a great area of Argyle. Michael was a great host, and having made sure we were comfortably settled left us to enjoy the peace and tranquility that this part of the world offers. Saw the otter at the end of the pier on our first day and loved watching the Oyster Catchers at work on the beach. We will definitely be back.

Wonderful Stay
Quaint little cosy cottage, equipped with everything you need. Wifi good, heating good, wood burning stove just lovely in the evening. Communication with owner perfect - especially when we managed to accidentally lock ourselves out, eek! - thanks for your kindness Mike. Surrounding areas fantastic for dog walks - Pucks Glen, Benmore, Ardentinny all highlights for us. Kilmun arboretum just a few steps along the road also well worth a visit. Would highly recommend, and will return!

The cottage was lovely, clean, but your online description said there was a hot tub, and BBQ area, there wasn’t, this was for my wife’s birthday, so nice cottage, but spoilt without hot tub and BBQ

Einfach wunderbar... Das Post Office Haus
Super schönes kleines Haus mit viel Gemütlichkeit und immer ein Fenster zum Wasser. Wir haben den Aufenthalt sehr genossen und können es 100prozentig weiterempfehlen. Tolle Ausflüge zu Fuss Aboretum, Cafe, Pub) oder mit dem Auto in die Highlands oder Castles möglich. Wir kommen bestimmt wieder.
