Rentouttava pakopaikka Gooseberry State Parkin vieressä

Gooseberry Trailside Suites tarjoaa rentouttavan, maalaistyylisen paikan yöpyäksesi, kun tutkit kaikki Superior-järven pohjoisrannat. Tämä kiinteistö rajoittaa Gooseberry State Park, Minnesotan suosituin valtionpuisto, josta pääsee polkujärjestelmään aivan takaovesta. Suuri ryhmille sekä suurille että pienille, on neljä kahden makuuhuoneen yhtä kylpyhuonetta sviittiä omaisuutta, että voit varata erikseen tai yhdessä. Jokaisessa sviitissä on oma sisäänkäynti sekä oma terassi, jossa on grilli ja ruokailutila ulkona. Siellä on myös saunarakennus, jossa on lämpenevä huppu suksille, lumikengille kiinnitetty hihna tai vain rentouttava sauna.

Great location, comfortable stay
My spouse and our 5-month-old enjoyed a long weekend here. The location is great for access to Gooseberry Falls and other popular North Shore spots (Superior Hiking Trail, Grand Marais, Two Harbors, Betty’s Pies, etc.). The space was comfortable and clean. My only concerns were that the traffic from Hwy 61 is very loud when you are outside and the tap water was a murky faint brown (likely from the well water).

Loved this place!
This was the perfect location for my daughters and me to base from and head out on hikes in all directions. Clean, well stocked, comfortable beds, nice shower. Everything we needed. The only drawback is we had a lower unit and the noise from the upper unit woke us up very early.

Cleanliness was disappointing
The location and space were small (for 6 people) but meet our needs just fine. I was disappointed in the cleanliness/tidiness of the place. There were cobwebs in the corners and hanging from the ceiling. Also, the most bothersome was the amount of dog hair left over from the past renters. Cleaning the floors and furniture appropriately could easily fix this problem but it was passed over.

Great Stay
We enjoyed our time here. Property is so close to Gooseberry, so that was nice. From the lower level unit, movement in unit above was pretty noticeable, but we're not particularly bothered by such (but worth mentioning for someone who might find that to be a bigger deal). Well appointed, comfortable beds. 2 fire pit areas, so even though there are 4 units, good chance of getting a space to enjoy a fire with one's group. We sadly ran out of time and didn't get to use the sauna, would be interesting to journey back in winter! Appreciated the good sized bedrooms and hooks throughout for hanging towels or clothes.

Great place, difficult check in.
This was a lovely and clean place however the property management company sent the wrong address which sent us completely out of the way and delayed our arrival. Additionally, the WIFI information was incorrect both on the check in instructions and inside the property. I had to reach out to the property management twice regarding these two issues which was inconvenient. I did however get a response which was helpful.

North Shore in June
Nice location and great access to trails and bike paths. Private patio with grill was very nice and the kitchen was a great size for cooking meals. Beautiful views of Lake Superior. The sauna was a great addition for relaxing.

It was the perfect place for a 3 night stay on the north shore. During the day we hiked in nearby state parks. At night we ate on the deck and admired the view. Everything that we wanted/needed was supplied. Host responsive and helpful.

Bird House
This was our 3rd year in a row staying here for our annual bird watching trip during the migration. We love it so much! The space is cozy and friendly, and that sauna is so appreciated after a long day hiking the trails behind the house. Communication with the host is great - they even reached out to see if we wanted to stay an additional night. Perfect!

Perfect Location - Clean - Comfortable - Charming
This cabin was fantastic! The location can't be beat. Just minutes from Gooseberry Falls and Split Rock Lighthouse. The access to the bike trail across the street was fabulous. It was a short 25 minute bike ride to Gooseberry Falls. The beds were comfortable with nice linens. The kitchen was well equipped for cooking and enjoying a meal. The gas grill was a bonus. The living space was cozy and pleasant. The outdoor deck and fire pit were very nice. The bathroom was clean, with plush towels. It was perfect for our long weekend get away.

Great Stay for small family
I had read reviews about the noise and it wasn't bad the first few nights. The last night was a new group and it was much louder. They weren't considerate of being on the top floor with people below them. Other than that, the stay was great. It was clean and in a great location. It was a great size for a family of four. The shower is very small which was harder for small kids and the shower head didn't move. There wasn't any plastic bowls or silverware, so we had to make a trip to buy some, but it wasn't a big deal.
