I stayed at the St. Regis, The Palm for my 30th birthday, and they made the occasion feel special from the moment I arrived. My room was beautifully decorated, and they surprised me with a lovely cake to celebrate. The butler service was outstanding—everything I needed was efficiently handled via WhatsApp, with requests addressed within minutes. The hotel's location in Jumeirah gave me a stunning view of the marina from my room, which was a highlight of the stay. It was also convenient to have the Aura Skypool and popular restaurants like CouCou attached to the property. I was even able to secure last-minute reservations, something that would’ve been difficult if I weren’t staying at the hotel.
However, there were a couple of minor hiccups. Upon arrival, I was initially assigned a room with a partially blocked sea view, obstructed by buildings. After requesting a full marina view, the hotel staff quickly accommodated me. There was also an issue with hot water one evening, which they resolved within an hour, though the water ran brown for a few minutes after. Additionally, the bathtub in my room was stained, and despite housekeeping’s efforts, they were unable to get the stains out. Unfortunately, this meant I couldn’t enjoy the tub for a bubble bath as planned. I would recommend the hotel consider using a Mr. Clean Magic Eraser to address this in the future.
Overall, I would recommend this property to anyone visiting Dubai.
