”We enjoyed our stay in Alan’s cozy cottage. It is beautiful. It had such a comfortable bed (the bed should have its own five star rating!). The kitchen was well equipped with essentials for us such as coffee maker, filters, mugs, plates, microwave, and more. It was a great place to come back to after days of exploring Acadia National Park and the surrounding area. Alan is a very responsive host and we enjoyed meeting him.”

”Perfection! After long days exploring Acadia, you are just a short drive to tranquillity. Amazing access to the rock shoreline and spectacular sunsets. We watched loons taking a morning bath and deer sprint across the yard at night. Next trip I will just stay and enjoy the view”

”My family stayed at the Cottage for a few nights to explore Acadia/Bar Harbor. We are so glad we stayed outside of the downtown area, this quiet getaway is the perfect escape from the busy nearby attractions. It is well equipped and Emily was a wonderful host. I would not hesitate to stay here again.”

”We had a wonderful stay at the Overlook. The view was fantastic, use of kayaks & fire pit was great & we totally relaxed with our pup. The only thing we could have used was info on where the transfer station was, how to get the bedroom TV to work (we figured it out, though) & a starter roll of paper towels. Aside from these minute issues, this is a wonderful cabin to escape to! I’d definitely stay here again! ”

”The view of the lake as the sun rises is stunning. We absolutely loved our stay at the lake house. It is so quiet and peaceful. The listing is very accurate and Stephen the manager is great to work with and if you have any questions he gets back to you very quickly. We spent a week exploring Maine and used this as our home base and it was as beautiful as everything else in the state.”
