”We love to hike and this place has great trails and hikes. The nearby river is gorgeous and the trees and flowers are spectacular. Jose’s night hike was a lot of fun for the whole family. We’ve rented a hundred vacation homes and Pete and Deborah were the most communicative and helpful of any place we’ve stayed. The house is beautiful and clean. It can get a little hot at night in the rooms but they supply lots of fans which work well. We loved everything about our stay..”

”We greatly enjoyed this property. The natural environment is gorgeous. I would recommend for anyone seeking a quiet place to relax and enjoy the surroundings. We heard the howler monkeys, visited by white face capuchins, entertained by a friendly coati and spent time identifying many different birds. I was nervous about the driveway from the reviews. ”Overall we enjoyed our stay. The listing pictures however did not accurately depict what was or was not in the house. For example there were no televisions in the house and the dining room furniture was not as depicted and needed to be updated. For example, the chairs did not match the height of the table and were uncomfortable. The pool was fabulous but the furniture around the pool was not very comfortable. ”The place reminds me of a speakeasy. The entrance is right on the strip across from the beach. You entry through an unassuming door and immediately step into a different place. It was super nice and very convenient to the beach, groceries and the national park. I used the host to help book our excursions and I feel like I got better deals than booking them myself. ”
