”This was our 3rd visit and it was wonderful as our previous two stays. Ocean Waves feels like home away from home, we love everything about it: the beautiful view, gorgeous beach, peace and quiet, friendly, helpful, responsive host, and various amenities including a lovely patio, an outdoor shower, lightweight beach chairs, and snorkeling equipment, to name a few. The house has good air flow - we kept the windows open for the cross breeze and never needed the AC. Can't wait to come back next...

”The place is exactly as advertised. It was a wonderful retreat! We greatly enjoyed wading in the pool and listening to the ocean. A special treat was sitting in the pool at night and watching a meteor shower. Highly recommend staying here. ”

”My husband and I spend a month every winter on the island of Eleuthera and always stay in the rainbow bay area. This year we chose Sugar Apple.and absolutely loved it. The house is lovely and super comfortable... the views of the Atlantic are breathtaking, especially while relaxing by the pool. There are so many beaches and places to visit in the area. The location was perfect for awesome sightseeing and then to come home after exploring all day......make dinner and watch the cruise ships...

”The property is well kept, nice and clean and steps from an amazing empty beach. The kitchen is a bit tight (but was definitely sufficient).Key was left in a lock box and easy to check in/out.Backup generator saved us when there was a power outage right in the middle of cooking dinner. ”This is a beautiful house right on the ocean. We walked along the beach every morning, without seeing many people. The view from the house is breathtaking. The house has great bedrooms and bathrooms, with plenty of space for everyone to spread out. Our boys loved the foosball table upstairs. The location is great, within walking distance to Tippys, where we ate almost daily. This was one of our family's favorite vacations.”

The views from the outside deck were outstanding both at daytime with a crazy amount of wildlife right below your feet and at night with the lack of residual light making it perfect for star gazing. This island is not like other Bahamian islands and not for everyone however a great location to explore from top to bottom. 5 STARS”

”Great location for touring around Governor’s Harbor, large rooms and three bedrooms, three and a half baths, plenty of personal space. We brought newcomers to Eleuthera with us so the central location was good for that.”
