”Good location for us half a hour from the ferry port. Room size ok for us. Overall the room was a bit tired and could benefit from an update. The items we noted were:- One failed and one failing light bulb on the main light made the room a bit dim. Wobbly toilet seat Plug in the washbasin was not attached and was difficult to use. Beside tables were rickety and needed attention. Missing top on the coffee machine water container makes it is unhygienic and put us off using it. Staff could have...

Breakfast hours should also be from 7-10 as it may interfere with either work or daily planning. ”It took ages to check despite the bar being open. My nice but quite small but the general housekeeping could be improved. The basin in the tiny bathroom offered little or no hot water and the shower head was only adequate. The menu choice was disappointing but the food was nice. The Breakfast basket was poor. My overall opinion of the Crown was that it was expensive for what you got. It's not a place that I would return to. ”
