”It's a beautiful property with amazing Christmas decorations. Even if you aren't staying at the hotel, I would recommend dining there to get into a Christmas vibe. The food and staff were phenomenal. The rooms were lovely and had character. There were beautiful views of green hills and sheep. It was great to stay in an independent hotel like this, which was so charming.”

”It took ages to check despite the bar being open. My nice but quite small but the general housekeeping could be improved. The basin in the tiny bathroom offered little or no hot water and the shower head was only adequate. The menu choice was disappointing but the food was nice. The Breakfast basket was poor. My overall opinion of the Crown was that it was expensive for what you got. It's not a place that I would return to. ”
