”Lovely welcome from our hosts, friendly but not intrusive. The cottage is well equipped and comfortable with quality fixtures and fittings. Beautiful patio area with an abundance of colourful plants. Centrally located in the town but tucked away in a secluded quiet area. Lots of interesting books to read, just not sufficient time in our busy schedule. ”We had a wonderful time. The property has everything you could need including thoughtful extras like milk, bread, tea and coffee on arrival. Property owner is lovely and easily contactable. There is a lovely place to sit outside with amazing views. Hay-on-Wye is literally an 8 minute drive away and lives up to its name of a bookish town. One of our favourite get always and I can’t recommend enough!”

”This is a delightful well equipped property which proved cosy and comfortable , much needed in a week of poor weather. The upstairs bedroom is far superior to the downstairs, as is the upstairs bathroom but twin beds don’t suit, and we weren’t sure if they were zip and link It would be really great if they were! We appreciated decent number of dishwasher and laundry tablets, provisions for the dog, and a quirky welcome pack. Thank you.”

”We stayed here for my husbands 'big' birthday. Wonderful location and beautiful barn. The pooches didnt want to leave! Perfect for coming together with loved ones. Fabulous walks and perfect for chilling on the decking listening to birds and watching wildlife. Barn is well equipped, spacious, lovely fireplace and host very welcoming and helpful.”

”We stayed there for 2 nights with 3 kids. The house was really nice and clean in a picturesque village. A small grocery shop a few meters away as well as a pub. We had a problem when we arrived as we didn't get the passcode from the online company but the owner was in touch and sorted out everything within a couple of minutes. I would definitely stay there again. Highly recommended!!!”

”Lovely house just VERY COLD!!!! Wasn’t told about the heating been on 2 separate thermostats. House was cold at night and some people left to go home and get warm. Location was fantastic, house was beautiful. Only downfall was the cold heating, log fire was blocked in chimney and WiFi was very temperamental”
