”A lovely location with full use of the grounds which we greatly enjoyed, strolling with our dog around the pond and the meadow and sitting out in the secluded garden when the weather permitted. The house was comfortable and well equipped, and best of all, peaceful. The house is well located for visiting the countryside and north coast of Devon. A slight quibble, in that, on a cold wet first day, the house was not warm enough, but that was quickly remedied with the owners, who were very helpful...

”The setting & area was ideal for getting out & about, if you have a dog 🐶 the garden was great. The cottage had every convenience & was definitely home from home, our only negative was bathroom downstairs. I didn't realise this when I looked at the cottage, for most people no problem. Late 70's a bit of an issue middle of the night, but we had a fabulous Christmas & few day's. Certainly would recommend to our younger friends & family.”

”We stayed from 25th Aug-1st Sept. The property totally exceeded our expectations which were extremely high. The facilities are second to none, it felt like a home from home but in much more beautiful surroundings. Orchard House is very close to all amenities but secluded for peace and tranquility. There was a lovely offering on arrival in the form of a welcome pack, totally unexpected and a treat. The owners were friendly and chatted to members of my family. I cannot recommend this property...

”Plenty of space for 4 adults. The outside verandah was well used as it was so peaceful and quiet to sit out on. Three toilets to the property was a great advantage. The property is not overlooked. The journey to the property is along narrow lanes but with plenty of routes to choose from.”

”The house is nicely decorated and was very clean. We only had to get rid of a large number of spiders, but that was due to our arachnophobia. It is a place where one can really calm down and relax and it´s great that dogs are allowed. We enjoyed walking along the coast and down to the "beach" where we saw some quite "dramatic" sunsets. The only downside was, that the 2 lower bedrooms were damp so that we needed to keep dehumidifiers running. But still one of the bedrooms had a quite unpleasant...

”Great accommodation, the pool and games room were perfect for our young teens. Lovely local area, the chip shop was the best fish and chips we’ve had in a long time. We visited Clovelly and the near by waterpark, both were well worth the visit. The hosts were very welcoming and helpful. Looking forward to visiting again”

”This property is in Woolacombe, it’s a basic chalet style bungalow with a double bedroom and a sofa / sofa bed. It’s very quiet and peaceful, I went along with the dog and met up with friends staying nearby. The accommodation is well kitted out. The host was very quick to respond to messages and contacted me so I could get in early..it was a very rainy, cold June day so that was most welcome.
