Plenty of space inside and outside the cottage, the fire and hot tub were a lovely addition to an already fantastic stay. Cooking and dining in the generous kitchen space was most enjoyable. ”

Things to keep an eye out for: Every knife and utensil has a better than 50/50 chance of being blunt or broken. ”We had a very enjoyable stay at the Talisker Lodge. We stayed over the Christmas holiday. It felt so cosy… we enjoyed the log burner & loved how it was located in the woods. We saw lots of woodland wildlife inc a red squirrel & woodpeckers. The property encourages you to feed the wildlife. We arrived to a bucket of nuts & a bag of fat balls. We went out to buy more fatballs as the birds soon got through them. We really enjoyed watching all the birds & the squirrel that came. We’d love to return...

”Property itself was clean and well equipped. Beds were not king size and the pull out bed in the third room was a camp bed so you could not move in the room at all - very disappointing . The brochure states parking for two cars with additional on road . There is only one allocated parking spot and the two free spaces are on a first come basis. I know it was in a cul de sac but it was still on the road .”

”We loved our stay! Had everything we needed. Only thing would have been bigger towels and different towels for using after the hot tub. But that’s just our preference not a complaint! Really enjoyed our time there”
