”Wow, what an amazing hotel. Check in was smooth, courteous and welcoming. The room was fabulous and the beds - well, I’ve never slept in such a comfortable bed at a hotel! The only thing was the pool said it was heated but at 7pm when I went for a quick dip the water was lukewarm at best. Such a wonderful place in such a wonderful town. We have cancelled our original hotel on our last night in Maine and rebooked the Harraseeket, we are so impressed! Thank you”

”This small motel is a great example of the way that Americans used to travel. There is obvious thought and care put into the amenities in each room. Mine had: microwave, fridge, iron, ironing board, clothes rack, hangers, bottle opener, hair dryer, and though the decor was dated, everything was spotless. I can tell that the management takes pride in this enterprise. I did not partake of the continental breakfast, but there is a great diner 6 minutes walk away. For an inexpensive night's stay,...

”It was perfect for our needs. Close to Freeport, Bath, Wiscasset and Brunswick. It was clean and well maintained. Breakfast was very nice. Parking was on site and convenient. Staff were very helpful”

”The room was clean and comfortable but it could have been a bit more big, especially the bathroom which was difficult to get into while opening the door and the door couldn’t close completely. The room door was difficult to open because it would get stuck. Breakfast was satisfactory, nothing amazing, but a big brand like Hilton should have offered a more substantial breakfast. ”Staff was plesant. Adequate parking. Room cleanliness, especially in the bathroom and kitchenette are was less than desirable. AC unit and filters showed excess mold growth. Locks for door were damaged and lock in back bedroom did not work at all. Toilet seat was wrong shape and size for the actual toilet and shower head fixture leaked from the wall.”
