”Perfect quiet place for two after several days of city sounds. A few great places to eat as long as you have a reservation. Can walk to everything. Good bakery with espresso not too far. The Cotswold Way begins (or ends) here so there are plenty of walkers about... like mentioned earlier make those reservations if it's a busy season.”

”The Orchard is a fantastic property. The place is shiny new with top fixtures and a lovely layout that is comfortable but also blends in with the strongly bucolic spirit of the region. We didn't mind the lack of tv as it encouraged us to really venture out and explore the Cotswolds. Church Hanborough is also a lovely village to explore on foot from the property, though you need to drive a few minutes for other services. It's also only 30 minutes from downtown Oxford and 1.5 hours from central...

”Spent a wonderful week staying in this house. Painswick is a beautiful Cotswold village and the property is a few minutes walk from the centre, where you will find excellent pubs, coffee shops and restaurants. A short drive takes you to Stroud where you will find all the major supermarkets and stores together with an impressive farmers market on a Saturday. Arriving to the most comprehensive "welcome pack" we have ever encountered we have no hesitation in recommending this property. 10 out of 10”

”Steve and Dawn were so amazing throughout - from our planning until the end of our star. We were a bit concerned that the stores will be closed and stressing about what to eat over Christmas and Boxing Days. Dawn checked the stores across the street and even purchase milk and bread for us. They are very sweet and communicative throughout. ”
