”It was very close to shopping and restaurants. Parking was very limited. Had to park on the street at night. Flies in the room. The pull-out single bed couch was full of stains. The staff was helpful. No phone or fridge in the room. Had a nice selection of tea and coffee in the room with adequate creamers and sugars.”

”This is a Marston's Pub/Diner with a separate accommodation block. It's a bit out of the centre of Aberystwyth but has plenty of onsite parking. The rooms are basic but comfortable. The "Pub" is really a restaurant, often with no seating to just have a drink. If you want an evening meal there, book it. Food is standard pub fare, but the Staff, who double as Reception and Bar Staff were very good.”

”Stayed in New Quay many times but this was our first stay at The Penwig and it didnt disappoint. We booked a sea view room which was lovely as you could sit in the morning and watch the dolphins out in the bay. The room was spacious and spotless. The breakfasts were tasty with a few choices and also catered for vegetarians. The staff were friendly, polite and nothing was too much trouble. There is no onsite parking but we used the carpark around the corner. It does get a bit noisey early in the...

”Lovely well-positioned hotel on the sea front. Friendly staff and good choice of food for breakfast which was cooked to order. Had an evening meal too which was also very good. Downside is there is no lift so climbing up to the second floor was an effort (we are in our 70's) but we did know this before we arrived so can't complain.”

”Amazing place! The ladies in reception of the hotel where we picked up the keys were so lovely. The apartment was stunning and over 2 floors, beautiful big bay window over looking the sea and the beds were very comfortable. It was extremely clean and tidy. Also loved the spa.
