”We had another VRBO but 4 hours before check in we were canceled on because of the recent storm that made the property unavailable. We last minute booked this property & we were grateful to find a place last minute. We asked if we could check in early which the host accommodated but they provided no further details so we ultimately ended up showing up at the property because we couldn’t reach the owner through the app. The host was staying at the property the night before & left food in the...

”our host was so quick to answer and even when we had a few bumps with the heating, it was quickly fixed/ accommodated for us. the place was so cozy and charming it was a great place to wind down and relax after spending hours outdoors exploring trails and hikes. the beds were CRAZY comfortable, really made taking short naps a dangerous game to play lol Would 100% come back and recommend to others!”

”Very clean and spacious. Our hosts were very quick to respond to any questions that we had. Use of boats, canoes, and kayaks, all included, and just a few minutes to the sandy town beach. We had a lovely stay”

”Clean, open, and sunny. Happy to have the gas stove and washer/dryer. Bed was comfortable and bedding was most inviting. Couch a bit uncomfortable with the worn in dip where we sat. Very homey however felt exposed with the lack of window coverings. Loved the homey touches , flowers on the table, plush soft throws rolled in basket, plush bath towels ktexposethecoverings.”

”While the basic but perfectly functional apartment is right on the Main Street of Indian Lake next to a bar (with great food) and the town’s theatre, the whole place has an Adirondack vibe and allows access to all that the area provides. John was friendly and helpful. Going during the town’s Moose Fest was a huge bonus!”

”This was a cute unit. It’s an older property so everything creeks, but part of the charm. Very very noisy people on the second floor, but that wasn’t the rental companies fault. Rate was good, but fees were extremely high. I’ve never seen the fees higher than the nightly rate and I use VRBO all the time. ”

”We had an amazing time at The River House. Everything was so new and beautiful. The house was very clean and spacious. Only thing that I do believe is worth mentioning, we were in Unit 3 and as soon as you open the front door, there is a very steep full staircase that you must climb. This was fine for me, but a little difficult for my elderly parents. Would definitely stay again!”

”It was a clean property to stay at and had no issues with cleanliness. I tried to communicate with owner prior to arrival about some amenities and never received a response. The kitchen is lacking some basic tools. They have a grilling set that is nice but no caulinder for pasta no spatula for making eggs. Back deck furniture was moved to adjacent unit so we had to scavenge to sit outside. Also umbrella is broken and in a breeze blows over. Couch is very basic and hard to sit on. If you are...
