”Arrived at 10pm and they offered me pizza!! Warm welcome from all the staff, offered a little bottle of fresh milk for brews in room, coffeemaker with pods and kettle in room. ”Given the opportunity I would rate our experience as VERY GOOD. What a find !! Lovely sight of a grand old house at end of long driveway, lovely large surrounding private grounds. Very impressed. All staff very welcoming, friendly, helpful, polite and efficient. Many period details survive. Large elegant dining room, welcoming lounge. Large sun kissed conservatory and terrace. Room was very nice with large ensuite. Thoroughly recommend.”

”Great base for Aberystwyth. Was rather cramped for 4 of us (2 adults, 2 teenagers) but was fine. The biggest issue was the bathroom which was really dated. It really quickly streamed up (room4) and the condensation on the mirror ran everywhere. It's not changed since we last stayed which worries me that it's going to start getting really tired soon.”

”Amazing place! The ladies in reception of the hotel where we picked up the keys were so lovely. The apartment was stunning and over 2 floors, beautiful big bay window over looking the sea and the beds were very comfortable. It was extremely clean and tidy. Also loved the spa. ”Fairly easy to find, though on a one way system, parking was a little tight at the back, ok for a small car, also limited spaces. There is some parking at front, but it restricted times etc .the hotel was nice and cosy, a bit dated, but everything functioned. We stayed at the back, and was fairly quiet there at night, not so sure about the front..? Warm cosy bed , very helpful friendly staff,.. AND the crown jewel was the full breakfast, 110% !!, set us up for the day, would recommend the place...
