”Surfari was a great place to stay. The breakfast was really good and we slept well as there was not that much noises from the streets (sometimes heavy rain, barking dogs or a rooster crowning woke us up). The staff were really nice and helpful. Rooms were very basic, quite small, but clean and hot water in the shower was a great value. There were 2 kitchens where you can prepare your own meals with lots of kitchen equipments.”

”It's a smidge out of the way but really cute. The cafe next door is amazing! We stayed over NYE so it was a bit harder to find taxi trucks. We wished there was a TV to relax and watch a movie but overall I'd recommend.”

”One of the most extraordinary places we visited during our stay in Panama. If the noisy, smelly and crowded Bocas Town is not for you (as well), then definitely check out the Al Natural Residence and/or resort. Away from anything else, in the middle of nature, beaches and gorgeous sealife! The residence was just perfect, with stunning views over the ocean and the jungle. Highly recommended!”

”Wonderful stay at a lovely apartment on Colon island. Close to the beach bike trail for quick access to town by bike or short ride from passing taxis and bus. The apartment was clean, the beds were comfortable, and the host was very attentive and easy to communicate with. ”Tropical private paradise. Beautiful rustic bungalow right on aqua waters. We came on off season and felt like we had the island to ourselves. There are kayaks to use as well. If you want more restaurants and life come in the main dry season. There is coral snorkeling nearby and an amazing indigenous guide and chef named Calypso who showed us all the local animals, sloths, monkeys, frogs, caiman and plant medicines. ”It was awesome from the minute I arrived. Family owned business that went out of their way to ensure every detail was covered. Helped book excursions, gave suggestions on things to do. The food was incredible, everything I had and I had at least 2 meals there a day was delicious.
