”The staff was wonderful. Love the family cabin. Someone trying to get in at night… I’m assuming was a bear… was a little alarming . Other than that I had a relaxing , quiet, peaceful stay at Emerald Bay Lodge!!! Will definitely stay again. Thank you for making my vacation great!”

”This was a very clean room. This definitely is a hands off property. You have to either call or email for help. Our room door code did not work but was fixed by calling for help. The laundry code didn’t work, tried 2 diff codes then finally got in to get extra towels. No ice machine. I was told to use ice from the tray. I’m sorry but I’m not using ice from a previous traveler, in today’s world! A/C is up so high I couldn’t reach it, my husband barely could. Then, it didn’t cool the room. Thank...

”Had an amazing stay at this property! The manager was extremely nice and very well accommodating. We were able to check-in early to be able to place groceries in the property! ”What an absolutely beautiful home! The owner, David, was very responsive and helpful in providing suggestions on restaurants and activities. It was an unusually hot week in Lake Tahoe and we didn’t realize the home didn’t have air conditioning, but with the windows open at night and a couple fans, it all worked out! The outdoor deck was perfect for bbq and family games. The nearby beaches, shopping and restaurants were great. We enjoyed our stay!”

”Our December travel day was clear but the following day a snowstorm blew in. Through the huge wall of windows we watched snow swirl among the tall pines as the gas fireplace warmed the spacious main room with its vaulted ceiling of knotty pine. The well equipped and beautiful kitchen, the spacious bathrooms, the windows on all sides made for a delightful stay. The fireplace in the downstairs game room kept us warm as we played billiards. ”We stay at this property every year around the same time. Lovely landscape and surrounding area is fun. However this year we ran out of hot water one night. Additionally, the beds were not 1 king and 1 queen as advertised; they were 1 queen and 1 full. We decided not to attempt to change rooms as the resort was fully booked, and we loved the view. Will continue to come back unless these small issues increase.”
