”Cultivar Lodge was lovely! Hotels.com had placed four adults into a 15m2 room, but luckily the lovely staff at Cultivar was able to organise us bigger apartment. The apartment (Pinotage) was just perfect. The view was amazing, room beautifully decorated and customer service excellent! Nevertheless, it is good to understand that there is no food available after 5 pm. The closest winery / restaurant is within 10 min drive and table reservation is needed. ”

”Whale Rock Lodge is a lovely place. Very much a home away from home. Staff welcoming and efficient. We had a room in The Villa; a separate building to main house with it's own entrance and car park but only 30 steps to main building. The room and bathroom were large with fridge & tea/coffee making facilities. Good sized balcony with comfortable seating. ”Very welcoming, pleasant and made staying easy because they covered the issues that most travellers to a country would like to know or experience. There were specific little touches in our room that stood out. The welcoming message and of course the delicious wine and view from our room. Also noted was their consideration for environmental issues. I don’t explore the cape fully but will Come back to Lovane again given the opportunity. Thank you. I will enjoy the wines I brought back to London. ”

”Short & easy walk to Franschhoek where you can find restaurants & shopping. This little gem is a clean and well cared for property, the pool was great for cooling off after a hot day. The managers were welcoming and very helpful. Breakfasts were delicious, large selection of foods and hot breakfast items. ”
