”Great room, obviously recently modernised, very clean, very quiet. Breakfast was good/hot, though the pastries werent great. The young lady looking after breakfast was fab, single handedly doing everything, and doing it very well.. Check in wasnt great, 3 people behind the desk, (2 chatting possibly about work ) and 1 couple taking foreeeever to check in. Eventually a 2nd person came free, and check in started. By the time we were checked in ( which was fairly quick), there was a huge queue...

”We had an enjoyable stay at the hotel. We found the staff every helpful. The room was clean and quiet. The bar was quiet and not expensive. Breakfast was excellent. Will stay again if in the area. Thank you”

”The hotel was under renovation and not providing any hot food only continental breakfast, as a diabetic I couldn't have the bread, yoghurt, cerials, jams or croissants. The continental breakfast were £15. We were not informed about the renovations before arrival, if we were we would have c. Cancelled. ”

”Hotel staff is always welcoming and helpful and beds are super comfy. Hotel is located in a very convenient area when visiting areas around Wirral and a nice stop when travelling further south and free parking on site. ”

”The room was clean and very compact, it lacked appeal but had most of the amenities you would want at this price. There is no interaction with staff at all as self check in, the heating wasn’t on although the radiator in the hall was hot, one curtain hardly covered the window, my room,2, was at the front of the property so people leaving the pub were talking loudly at 11.30/12pm and then again at 1am which woke me up, the shower was good, the wash basin so tiny you couldn’t get the tiny kettle...

”Generally the rooms are to a high standard. The breakfasts are excellent, and the staff really friendly. Easy car parking. Only quibble is that we tried to book another 2 day stay, the system didn’t allow this - wanted 3 or more: this may vary with time of year.”

”Easy to find, great parking. Room was clean, bed was comfortable. Needs more hooks in the bathroom and plug/charging points in thr main room. Continental breakfast was a bit sparse, although they did give me a poached egg. Staff were friendly.”
