”The host was friendly and helpful, but I suggest a review of the needs of a traveler be re-considered as the space is very basic eg no extra cutlery, glassware, plates or coffee mugs if inviting visitors to the room. One hand towel only was provided. Self - catering essentials to support the traveler were minimal eg no cooking spray or oil. No cushions, no extra pillows to provide additional comfort. Shampoo, conditioner and soap also minimal. ”

”Really tidy and warm cabins (we stayed in August), perfect space for 2 people - underfloor heating was a big winner. Alex welcomed us warmly, great communication and gave great recommendations to suit our interests, even a spot to photograph aurora. Some noise noticeable through the adjoining wall and balcony with the neighbouring cabin, but not crazy. Quiet spot and handy to attractions in the area - we'd stay again!”

”The cottage is lovely and the owner was very personable. Our only disappointment was the breakfast provisions. We thought if we had been tourists staying in the Huon we would have expected some lovely local produce. Instead it was just Coles brand items. The facilities are very nice though and it was perfect for what we needed.”

”The host was very welcoming and explained everything to us as we were guided to our accomodation. What a lovely surprise, a deck to view the rolling hills and river from, step inside this 1840 exquisite building and first thing that greets you is a cask of port with enough in it for 6 tipples sitting on that lovely deck (which also has a bbq btw). The bed was amazingly comfortable and the area is very peaceful. The host also suppies the many books he has written and published and he has copies...

”The night away was about respite and change of scenery and that is exactly what we got at this beautiful cottage accommodation. It was so very clean, well equipped, welcoming and tranquil. The outlook, the gardens, the birds and of course the friendly cows who came to welcome us at the fence. I would absolutely visit again and plan to very soon.”

”A beautiful and tranquil place to stay while touring Bruny Island. The breakfast is wonderful and the warm bread is a treat. Beautifully presented unit and has everything I you need. The only thing that I can fault is being a tall person I did not realise how many times and near misses of hitting my head on the curbed wall to ceiling....but that was one of the things I fell on love with from the pictures before booking to stay. I would happily stay again.....we absolutely loved our stay here...
