Vauvakarhu-studio-mökki

Baby Bear -mökki on osa Bearwoods-hyttiryhmää. Istuen 12 hehtaarin valtakunnan metsän reunalla, nämä kolme yhden makuuhuoneen mökkiä nauttivat rauhallisesta ympäristöstä ja ovat vain muutaman minuutin päässä puistosta ja järvestä. Mökit voi vuokrata erikseen tai ryhmänä.

Vauvakarhu on tilava 1 makuuhuoneen mökki, jossa katettu edessä oleva kuisti ja oma terassi. Täydellinen joko parille tai pienelle perheelle, tämä on suurin Bearwood-mökeistä. Vauvakaru voi nukkua jopa kuusi vierasta tilavalla king-size-vuoteella ja kahdella täysikokoisella futonilla. Kaikki rakastavat suurta, kaakeloitua suihkukaappi. Avoin pohjapiirros tekee hengailusta, varsinkin kun ruoka on mukana! Täyden palvelun kanssa, joka on valmis keittämään keittiötä, ateria-aika on välitön! Mutta kun sää on hyvä, voit vetää kannen grillaamaan ja rentoutumaan. Älä unohda kääntyä tulipesän ympäri - ei ole parempaa kertoa ja kertoa, ja todennäköisesti nauraa päivän seikkailuista.

Recommend Baby Bear
Baby bear cabin was clean, quiet, and cozy for a small family (myself and a teen) fishing trip at Broken Bow Lake. Although close to the highway, we were not disturbed by traffic noise due to the trees all around the cabin. There is enough room to drive into the cabin and park with a boat/trailer. The shower is large and has good water pressure. Beds were comfortable. We would stay here again in the future.

Miserable
This cabin needs to be taken off the market until it is renovated. It’s a shame to charge $200 a night for something that looks and smells like a goodwill. The pictures on Vrbo are not current pics. The mattresses are more like sleeping on a box spring, air mattresses would have been better. The bedroom has concrete floor, nasty rugs and jacked up trim. You also have to stand in the middle of the bed to turn the light off if you want to keep the fan on. No window coverings on front door, back door or windows in kitchen or living room. The daybed in living room has cheap 3-4 inch mattresses and the actual frame of the bed is bent. I am not picky at all but me having to pay for this is a crime in itself. Shame on everyone that allows this to keep happening. Thankfully they screwed up and instead of 3 nights we only had to stay 2. I have several pics if your interested in knowing what it really looks like.

Let me start with, WE HAVE NEVER COMPLAINED about a cabin! Creepy not having windows covered with near by cabins ! We come for privacy! Hung towels and blankets over the full length window door and 2 windows! Walls needed to be painted in living room! The step up bathroom was quite different with no heat! It appeared to be a hunter’s cabin! The bedroom hand unfinished concrete floors ! It did have a rug over most of it and some of the blinds were broken in there.

Knew it was going to be rustic
to the owners credit, the TV and furniture have been upgraded in the living area. We were disappointed in the lack of utensils and no cork opener for wine. Lack of soap/shampoo in the shower. We have stayed in multiple Hochatown cabins and while not fair to compare this property to them we felt like the price for what we received was out of line. Surprised there is a "cleaning fee" when we had to wash dishes (no dishwasher). The internet was a bit hit or miss as well. Lighting int the cabin was a bit of a challenge. We are guessing this may be one of the first cabins available in Hochatown prior to the "million dollar" cabins being constructed as this is a cinderblock property. We did like the deck and firepit.

The cabin was part of a compound secluded in woods off the highway. Pretty handy to town when needed. Seemed to have the place to myself. The building has seen a few leaf seasons, but it is well maintained.

Run Down not Rustic
Called Kiamichi Cabins upon my arrival and informed them that the cabin appeared to be under construction for remodel and not finished. I was informed that it was a rustic cabin and that was just the way it is. I belive the term that should have been used is run down. I explained that I do not mind rustic but at minimum I expected it to be finished and clean. Carpet in bedroom had been removed and flooring was bare concrete. Baseboards and molding were falling off or not attached. Trash from tearout was swept into closet. Extra bed in living room was broken. There were numerous other repairs that needed to be made. Kiamichi did offer a refund to go somewhere else, however, it was Labor Day Weekend and of course there was no availability anywhere. If we hadn't driven so far and had plans made, we would have just went home. I have never stayed anywhere that was in such poor condition.

No curtains on doors and windows. People could see in cabin from outside. The cabin had air conditioning that was to difficult to operate. No ice maker in the fridge . Cabin was clean but dated not like internet showed.

Not what we wanted
Not secluded - 2 other cabins were in the same location Not private - other than blinds (which were broken) and curtains in bathroom all other windows were opened for viewing in Not quiet - can hear street noises from cars passing, not to mention both the other cabins had small children staying in them Not comfortable - bed was hard as a rock, water pressure in shower was not great and I never even turned on the cold water to bathe Not accommodating - we weren't expecting a lot of frills but there were no essentials like napkins or tissues. The kitchen was minimally stock with items needed for cooking. The shower could have used shevles in it. You even had to pay for firewood. Not the peaceful, intimate getaway we were hoping for.
