Absolutely Beautiful!
Our 3 generation family loves Birch Point Rendezvous! This was our 2nd year to visit and we enjoyed every moment. The house is spacious and beautiful, the views from the huge windows, deck, and yard are amazing! We enjoy watching the freighters and the beautiful lake. We took many beach walks, used the kayaks and paddle board, enjoyed the hot tub, and the gas fire pit on the deck. The little ones had fun playing with the toys provided. We spent most of our time at the house, but we did visit the Soo to visit the locks, shop, and eat whitefish. We toured a fishery and went to Iroquois Point Lighthouse. All in all it was a fantastic week and we were all very sad to leave. We hope to return!

Absolutely Fantastic
My family and I stayed here while and we could not have been happier with everything. The pictures do not do this place justice, it’s absolutely beautiful inside and out. Communication with the host is very easy and responsive. Whenever we come back to the UP this house will be our first choice.

With so many inflated ratings, this property is a real 5 star. On the coast of Lake Superior, this is a wonderful property with comfortable spaces and gorgeous views. The hosts have provided for nearly any and every need in a house that feels like its brand new.

This home is amazing!! Immaculately clean, plenty of room, plenty of bathrooms and anything you would need to cook meals. Hot tub was great and the view is incredible!! Would be great to come in the summer being right on the water!! Directions were simple and contact with the hosts was quick. We had a wonderful relaxing time thanks so much for sharing your home!!

Beyond great
It is difficult to describe how beautiful this home is. Cabin / lodge type feel with all of the amenities of a modern home. We had a group of 6 adults and were very comfortable. Our stay was in February during the snowy season and the home was always warm and cozy, and the hot tub was excellent. We had a few questions about the internet and Brigid came right over to help us out. Plenty of appliances to cook with, washer/dryer are new, and a lot of board games for kids and adults. Overall I rate this a 5 out of 5. Summertime must be incredible.

Wonderful property!
This property and the hosts are both absolutely amazing. We visited in early March to celebrate our 15th wedding anniversary. This property provided all the amenities one would need for a relaxing stay. We enjoyed watching the sunset, the stars, relaxing in the hot tub and playing board games. The kitchen is fantastic and helped us to be successful in cooking some yummy food. Would highly recommend this property!

Awesome place
Got to enjoy the hot tub with friends and watch t.v. and relax by the fire place. Originally came up for snowmobiling, but the was no snow. There plenty of things to see and do in area from the Soo to Brimley.

Great stay. Beautiful house and view.
This is the second time we have stayed at this property and it will not be the last. This house leaves little else to be asked for as far as accommodations and view. The hosts are very friendly. We’ve been there for two I-500 snowmobile races and will definitely be back. Another bonus, if you snowmobile, the trails are just up the road.

Beautiful Home On Lake Superior! Perfect For Our Family Christmas Trip!!
Wow!!! This home deserves 10 stars!! Our extended family spent Christmas together at this beautiful home directly on Lake Superior. Six adults, two kids, and two dogs under one roof, and we still had more than enough room to spread out! The home is beautifully designed and fully stocked with just about everything you could possibly want/need. They even decorated and had a Christmas Tree up for our arrival! Everything was clean and well maintained. The large kitchen was a dream to cook in! The fireplace and hot tub were wonderful! And last, but definitely not least, THE VIEW! Having that beautiful view of Lake Superior throughout our stay was the icing on the cake. The weather was oddly mild for December (no snow!) so we were able to step right down to the lake for several walks along the rocky/sandy lakeshore. Thank you for a wonderful stay, we look forward to returning!

Great house, gorgeous view and great location
Awesome place to stay, no complaints at all. We’ve enjoyed it so much that we booked it again and were really happy with it even the second time. Short drive into town, but still feels far away from everything to be a vacation. Fun watching the freighters pass by. Lastly but not least, the host has always been really friendly and helpful with anything that comes up. Definitely recommend this place!

Perfection
It is impossible to find the right words to accurately describe how truly magnificent this home is. When we opened the front door, we were greeted by an amazing view of Lake Superior with an added bonus of a ship passing through. Everything was perfect! We spent our time relaxing in coziness and surrounded by beauty both indoors and out. All of us enjoyed the hot tub and fireplace, but nothing compares to the sound of the waves. We loved every minute, and think we were all a little sad when it was time to go.

This was such a wonderful place to stay. From the time we opened the door and walked in we were all amazed by how beautiful the view was and how truly nice the place was. The entire family was super happy with the house and we had 10 adults comfortably sharing this space. Beautiful and spacious with everything we needed and could have wanted from the hot tub, to the fireplace and grill. Host was absolutely wonderful! Any questions I had were answered quickly, she met us at the property when we arrived to answer any questions we may have had and tell us she was minutes away if we needed anything 😊. My entire family would love to stay again sometime. Thank you again for letting us stay in your beautiful home!

Incredible Home!
This is honestly the best vacation rental I've ever stayed at. The home is absolutely stunning (even better than the photos) and it is situated perfectly on the lake to watch boats go by. Our group of 7 adults and had more than enough space, and even with cold and rainy weather keeping us from using the kayaks, we loved being able to enjoy the wood-burning stove and hot tub. Would highly recommend and hope to stay here again.

Peaceful, Beautiful Escape
It is difficult to find words to describe the peace and beauty of Birch Point Rendezvous. It truly lives up to the photos and descriptions. The wood and stone design perfectly reflects its natural surroundings. The interior looked like it had been decorated by Martha Stewart. We arrived after midnight following a long drive. We were exhausted, and it was a sight for sore eyes to find all the beds made, with fashionable linen and comfy pillows. The Birch Point Rendezvous hosts have considered even the smallest details to help guests feel at home. The kitchen was stocked with every utensil and appliance you’d ever need. Logs for the fireplace and pit. Lots of fresh towels in a wicker basket, ready to take to the hot tub. Nothing was overlooked! Brigid was prompt, patient, and helpful in answering my many questions as we planned our vacation. Once we got there, she was always available for any need. We LOVED the huge hot tub, complete with colored lights. My cares literally floated away. We had some wonderful family bonding time around the built-in firepit on the deck and making s’mores down by the shoreline in the natural firepit, encircled by Adirondack chairs. There are so many wonderful attractions in the vicinity, and we created many happy memories. But some of our children loved being at the chalet so much, they just preferred to skip rocks, go kayaking, and enjoy watching ships pass by. Our stay was a long-anticipated dream come true. We definitely want to come back!

Property was better than the pics shown. Lovely rock beach. Clean and comfy. Brigid was managing the property and checked in with us several times, providing advice when asked for and even loaning is backpacks since we planned poorly and left them at home! Would stay again.

Family Vacation
What an incredible house and location! The view was stunning and one night we saw the Northern Lights. The house has plenty of areas to spread out and everyone had their own room or space. We enjoyed looking for Yooper rocks, the hot tub, the firepit, used the grill and the kayaks. It was a short trip to most of our excursions, Soo Locks, Mackinac Island, the Lighthouse. We drove to Pictured Rocks one day, that was a bit farther, but still had a great day and not back to late. We also enjoyed the sunset views from the hot tub and watching the freighters go by the house. The hosts were extremely attentive and answered any questions we had. They were incredibly prompt when the grill ran out of gas, and they brought over a new tank within 5 minutes. Overall, it was such a great trip we will stay here again in the future.

So beautiful!
Our family is in love with this house, inside and outside. The house is so beautiful and spacious. Enough room for 8 adults and young children. The views are amazing, watching for freighters, beautiful sunsets, etc. The yard is big enough to play and/or relax, the kayaks and paddle board make for fun adventures, and the deck is so nice with the gas fire and hot tub. We were very sad to leave, but have already booked for next summer. Brigid was very helpful and attentive. Every need was met and beyond. We would 100% recommend this property for a family vacation. We are taking many memories with us and can’t wait for next year!
