"The bar and dining areas were cold. My room was warm and comfortable. Dining was very good. Charging for parking in their own car park was not good. My bathroom needs to be modernised with a better shower"

Easily my favourite place to stay in the Lakes!
"Brilliant, cosy inn with restaurant, and great rooms and Teapigs in the rooms… beats a cheap coffee sachet. The staff were really friendly, and my daughter and I loved our stay for two days climbing in the Lakes. The breakfasts are superb too."

"Me and my friend stayed in the lodge during our visit to the Lake District and we absolutely loved it! The lodge was beautiful and felt very homey and the views were incredible. Great stay over xmas
"We loved the lodge. It felt very homely. The park is right at the lake shore. The kitchen was equipped very well. Beds were comfortable and shower powerful. A bonus was the TV with netflix and other apps and good internet connection. We would be back when the weather is warmer."
