”My wife and I had the privilege of staying at this wonderful cabin for a long holiday weekend. We love trying new places to stay that are secluded and this one certainly didn't disappoint. ”Stayed 7 nights. Repeat Madison visitors for 30+ years. Loved the location in Historic District. Walking distance to almost everything. Very old and marginally clean. I’m picky. High sided claw foot tub with too small shower curtain was dangerous to enter and exit. It’s the only tub/shower in this rental. It was dirty. Needs safety bars on wall and maybe a step-stool. Needs hooks near sink for hand towels. Cleaners left no hand towels and only 2 bath towels out and we had to hunt them down....

”Quick getaway for 4 sisters (from Cincinnati) and the home was the perfect setting! So clean and newly renovated- great soothing color scheme and decorations makes it feel like you’re at home. Very well stocked (coffee and toiletries) and lots of info on Madison with things to do. Hosts are very responsive. Nice location - walkable to town and to river walk - with outdoor seating on front and back porches. Definitely will visit again! ”

”This is a tremendous location if you are looking for peace and solitude. The natural setting is perfect for relaxation and exploring nature. Not to mention the wonderful campfire circle in the backyard. The cabin is just about perfect...impeccably clean, well-furnished and the beds are very comfortable. ”The property is beautiful, clean and there is a welcome book to help you along. There is also a welcome book you can share your experiences which makes it really nice because you can read the memories and places others have enjoyed. It is close to the road but there is parking on the side street and the owner lets you know it is best to park there, parking was not an issue. The beds, bedding and pillows were really comfortable. We Love Madison and look forward to trying new places next time...
