”We try to rent this cabin every few years. Its really has everything you really need. The location is stunning and the deck gives you the perfect view. The only reason i gave 3 stars on cleanliness is because it doesnt look like the property itself is being maintained very well anymore. We also had to clear almost a foot of ash out of the grill before we could even use it. ”

”A beautifully decorated home, 2BD 1Bath with total laminate flooring ( pretty) which is great for being pet friendly. ”This property is a MUST stay for anyone traveling to Mammoth Cave National Park. It’s in a beautiful country setting and the fire pit with indirect lighting is over the top. Our host answered every inquiry we made through Vrbo in a timely manner. The Park is only 6 miles away. We were visited by wild turkey in the morning and deer in the evening while eating on the deck. This property is the only one I’ve ever given a 5 star rating to in all our travels.”

”This was the perfect end of summer getaway for our family, we did a couple of fun things including touring Mammoth Cave and horse back riding, but most of the time we swam in the lake, took the kayaks out that were provided with this house, cooked, and relaxed. We absolutely loved just getting away for a few days! The only downside is there is no washer and dryer. Wasn't a big deal because we only stayed 4 days, but if it were a week I could see laundry definitely piling up. ”

”Mike thank u for hosting. Great week and weather. Really enjoyed the rental. As disclosed the single BR had us on a schedule but no issues! Lower level access challenging for mobility impaired with stairs. Mike met us on Saturday and gave some Great tips about lake conditions. View without comparison. Well appointed kitchen. Very comfortable beds. Lots Of space. We fish so did not use TV or Wi fi. Would rent with Mike again and Plan too make this place our new annual gathering place.”

”Stayed here with some friends. Accommodations were nice, new and clean. The cabin was a great launching point for our weekend activities. Didnt see a single bug! There was also a good stock of cookware in the kitchen! That came in handy! My only feedback is that there is a camera w/ a microphone near the hot tub. I understand it probably doesnt aim directly at the tub, but it was enough to make us not comfortable using it.”

”This was a perfect spot for our multi-generational family. We ranged in age from 2 to 70 and everyone had a great time. We all enjoyed the game room and the outside spaces.
