Driftwood Mökki: Bass Harbor, ME

Tämä makea ranch-talo sopii Acadian kansallispuiston Bass Harbor Headin majakka-sisäänkäynnille. Vakiintunut polku talosta vie yhden suoraan kivi rannalle, että voit nauttia perheen kanssa. Voit myös kävellä rantaviivaa Bass Harborin majakkaan. Sen lähellä Acadia National Parks kävelyreittejä Ship Harbor ja Wonderland. Seawall ei myöskään ole kaukana Driftwood Mökistä. Iso kannu etukannen ympärillä on iso etupiha. Sinä ja perheesi voi nauttia palo kuoppaan ja pelata rauhassa ja melko ympäristöissä. Driftwood Cottage on melko yksityinen, joten voit nauttia lomastasi perheesi kanssa. Mökki on lemmikkiystävällinen ja lemmikkisi nauttivat tilavasta ympäristöstä. Ravintolat, pienet kaupat, ruokakaupat ja kirjasto sijaitsevat lähellä. Tulet tähän mukavaan ranch-kotiin tilavan mudroomin kautta tai liukusäätimillä, jotka ovat kanteen ympärillä. Sisällä syödä-keittiö tarjoaa istuma 4 pöydälle ja 2 enemmän baarissa. Keittiössä on ruostumattomasta teräksestä valmistetut laitteet ja se on hyvin varusteltu. Viereinen olohuone on tilava ja tarjoaa useita tiloja keräämiseen. Huoneistossa on kaksi makuuhuonetta, master on asetettu king size-vuode (muisti vaahto). Makuuhuoneessa on tv ja kaapeli perustettu. Toisessa makuuhuoneessa on suuri L-muotoinen kerrossänky, jossa on täysi sänky ja kaksi erillistä singleä (muistivaahto), joka mahdollistaa jopa 4 henkilöä tässä huoneessa. Tämä toinen makuuhuone olisi hyvä lapsille, se on myös TV ja kaapeli perustettu.

Absolutely Perfect!
So much more than I expected. This is a beautiful private quiet lot with deer visiting (or I guess we were the visitors). The lighthouse is a 10 minute walk to the cliffs with breathtaking views and the faint sounds of the bells in the background. We sat outside very early in the morning with coffee and I haven’t seen so many stars since I was a child. The house is immaculate and well appointed with everything necessary for your stay. We loved our stay!

Conveniently Located First Class Accommodations
We were very pleased with our stay. My husband and I and two Shelties had more than enough room to spread out in this lovely home. Everything was pristine and top notch. Conveniently located for hiking in Seawall area and very close to Bass Harbor Light. We loved the food nearby at Charlotte’s Lobster pound near Seawall. We hope to come back with more family members next time. We can imagine this house would perfect for a visit with.grandchildren.

Fantastic Stay - Book this house!
We were lucky enough to spend 5 wonderful nights here as part of an east coast road trip from Wisconsin. As someone who travels often with our dogs, we rely heavily on rental platforms like this. We also host. When I say this property was one of my favorites out of hundreds, take that to heart. It was so clean, organized, stocked and comfortable. They thought of every detail - down to a very exciting box of dog toys mine loved. Comfy towels, bedding, blankets etc. This house has everything you need. Wonderful, quiet yard. Safe for pups and kids- little traffic as its a dead end gravel road. Quick walk to the lighthouse and easy drives to Acadia, Bar Harbour, Schoodic. Host was helpful, kind and didn't leave a laundry list of instructions which was refreshing. It was simply comfortable. Thank you!!

The Driftwood at Bass Harbor
The Driftwood Cottage was stocked well with almost everything that you would need for a comfortable getaway. We just stayed for one night, and enjoyed the quiet side of Acadia! The description for the property could use some updating though. It said that you could take a short trail through the woods to the Bass Harbor lighthouse. This is no longer allowed through the national park property across the street from the cottage.

The Perfect Getaway
This house is perfectly located near some beautiful hikes in Acadia! The hosts were SUPER responsive and we felt right at home. The kitchen was fully stocked with everything we needed to cook some delicious meals. I’ll definitely be staying here again!

Amazing Stay!
We had the best time exploring Acadia and being able to stay at this amazing home! It literally had everything you could possibly need. It was so clean, comfortable and peaceful. Being greeted every morning by the cute little deer was an extra bonus. It was great being walking distance to the Bass Harbor Lighthouse and a 4 minute drive to the Wonderland Trail. And close enough to end most evenings in Southwest Harbor. Looking forward to returning in the future!

Visting Acadia National Park and Bar Harbor was amazing. Lobster rolls like no other in South Harbor. The home we stayed in was lovely and met all our needs. Beautiful property in a great location. Loved seeing the deer out front when we arrived.

A serene base to explore Acadia National Park & MDI
Not only was the property as listed and pictured, but we found it extremely well-appointed which was so convenient and appreciated. It was clean and an excellent layout for our family - and the kids really enjoyed the playset outside! The biggest draw of this property is how calm and serene the location is. It's an oasis from the very crowded part of the island, but also very close to very interesting attractions like the Ship Harbor trail and great food spots. We enjoyed the mornings and nights on the deck, looking at the deers that always visit and listening to the sounds from the sea.

A perfect fit for our family
Wonderful stay at Driftwood Cottage! Very child-friendly, clean, and filled with thoughtful touches throughout. We truly wanted for nothing and our stay was very easy. We particularly the firepit and swingset, which made kept our kids happy. Very quiet and peaceful location--a great escape from the hustle and bustle of Acadia. Amazing place to stay
Enjoyed staying at this property. It was very close to a bunch of major locations as well as a great restaurant called Archie’s lobster. We were able to get to a lot of the Arcadia attractions with 20 minutes, which is exactly what we were looking for. We were far enough away that we were in the middle of the woods. The kitchen was well stocked, and they had so much firewood to enjoy in the evenings. Thanks for the amazing stay.

Driftwood cottage is secluded, clean, and well-equipped. We enjoyed sitting on the porch listening to the buoy bell ring and watching the baby deer. The house was immaculate and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. My husband appreciated that the kitchen was well-appointed. We will definitely be back.

Great stay, beautiful spot
The house is really cute and comfortable. It worked out perfectly for my family if 4. My kids especially loved the playset outside! It was very nice to be able to walk to the Bass Harbor Lighthouse, because parking down there was a little chaotic! The only thing to note is if you are sensitive to dogs and have allergies you may want to bring your allergy medicine along. The house was very clean, but if you have allergies you know!
