Hill country getaway at Marigold Hill

Relax and enjoy this peaceful getaway in the Texas Hill Country just minutes from Lakehills, live music, restaurants, and convenience stores. Marigold Hill was completely remodeled in April 2021 and is ready to host family trips or weekend escapes with 2 queen beds, a twin over full bunk bed, a queen sofa bed and all the comforts of home. Spend some time down at the park where you can picnic and then enjoy watching and feeding the deer off the front deck of the house or on the back patio while grilling up dinner on the propane grill and playing a game of cornhole.
*lake levels are very low so boat launch are currently closed and swimming spots are unavailable.*

Great place to stay and relax!
We loved there were plenty of towels and washcloths and lots of blankets. The kitchen was outfitted well with plenty of plates, utensils and drinking glasses. Coffee maker with filters and coffee was provided! Very considerate having a large Pur water pitcher already in the refrigerator for drinking water. There were extra fans in each bedroom as well as in the living area. The foosball table was a hit with everyone and there were plenty of other games for everyone, including corn hole. Plenty of seating for meals. 2 sacks of deer corn were left for us to feed the deer which everyone enjoyed. Will definitely stay again!

Exceptional host!
The home was really clean and had all the necessities for a comfortable stay. Fully stocked with kitchen utensils. Great for all aged kids. Had some games for my smaller children and wifi for my older ones. Smart Tvs in all rooms. Host was very attentive and fast at responding with any questions or requests. Home is a 2 story but has levels that take getting use to. Overall we enjoyed our stay.

Spring break get away
The house was very cozy and nice. We really enjoyed feeding and seeing the deer in the front yard and through out the neighborhood. The lake was very low though. We were “away” but close enough to San Antonio for fun.

Nice place with access to the lake
6 adults stayed here for a wedding at a friends in Medina lake. The house was clean and comfortable, with everything we needed. We really enjoyed the deer, and corn in bags to feed them. We would stay again.

Very beautiful house. Very clean. Just caution with the entrance outside cement steps. Both my mother and unt fell.. My mother twisted her ankle. The only bad thing for me was the drive getting to the house. The road was very dark and dangerous .

Beautiful, clean house!
The house had EVERYTHING we needed! Lots of soft towels, kitchen cabinets stocked with plenty of dishes and the house was very clean! Nice location! The deer were everywhere! Enjoyed some nice games of corn hole. Sat out one night on the front deck and just star-gazed! It was a perfect place to stay!

A Tour of Texas
The wife and I decided that for vacation this year we would take the kids on a tour of Texas. We picked this house so that we would be somewhat centrally located to the areas of Texas I enjoyed visiting growing up. We went to Schlitterbahn in New Braunfels, the Frio River / Garner State Park, the caves east of Bourne, rented a boat for the day on Medina Lake, and hit up the riverwalk in San Antonio. This property was a perfect choice. It was clean and we all had enough room to move about freely. The deer that hang out around the house were pretty cool for the kids. I think there were memories made with the kids, and I would definitely stay at this property again.

Your host is the Best!
The home was beautiful. Everything was new and we almost didn't want to use anything lol. We made a mistake in check out time and my host was gracious enough to call me and we simply added another day. The daily deer views were amazing. Could not have asked for more!

Overall it is Great
She provided me with a pack n play, highchair. Love that there were kids cups plates bowls and silverware. There was everything listed and more!! My kids loved feeding the deer and going to the lake! I loved sitting outside and relaxing. She communicated very well and answered all my questions! Highly recommend staying here!!
