”Tropical private paradise. Beautiful rustic bungalow right on aqua waters. We came on off season and felt like we had the island to ourselves. There are kayaks to use as well. If you want more restaurants and life come in the main dry season. ”We loved our stay at this hotel it was very beautiful. We found it a bit tough getting back to our jungle lodge at night. The mountainous terrain was difficult to climb and when we called for shuttles they did not always come quickly. If I knew the terrain I would have tried to book a pricey golf cart for the week. By the time we caught on there were none available and we had to rely on the resort for transport. Not always a great option. ”

”My favorite place of the entire trip!! Great hosts and excellent chef. Soooo peaceful and very romantic in a rustic sense. The wonderful lodge-like structure is somewhat secluded on an island near Bocas Del Toro, It is only accessible by boat and most tours will pick you up at their dock. The English-speaking owner can help arrange this. They have a sweet dog that bonds quickly to guests, but is not intrusive. Love this place!!!”

”We stayed two nights at Colibri in February. The place is nicely designed, so that all the cabins have patios directly towards the sea. We had the second cabin counting from the beach, and the passing motorboats didn't disturb us at all, which might be the case with the last one. ”Wonderful property. We were able to dive in the water right outside our door off the deck. Mandy and PJ are wonderful hosts. Breakfast was awesome. Food nearby was awesome. The only knock I would have is that across the channel, the clubs in Bocas Town are loud until 2 AM. Fortunately, Mandy and PJ provide white noise sound bars in the room.
