”We had a great stay! Communication and responses from the host were excellent! Getting in and out of the suite and building securely was easy and hassle-free. The property and amenities- all “thumbs up!”. Check out Corkscrews and Brews (esp for coffee, breakfast) and the Whiskey distillery. ”

”Close to highway to get to everything quickly, great coffee shop, pizzeria and bar on 1st floor, brewery and distillery right next door. Clean place and great communication with owner. Will definitely rent again when i come back to Newport News!!”

”Enjoyed our stay. Great, quiet location. Parking was challenging on occasion, but doable. Easy access to the building, although the key fob went missing once, it was resolved quickly. Per the previous comments, I was aware the sofa bed wouldn't be the most comfortable for sleeping, but we made do just fine. Communication was excellent. Enjoyed it so much, we extended our stay.”

”The apartment was perfect, nice size and clean. A perfect location to Williamsburg, Bush Gardens, and Water Country. Located in a quiet community and the apartment looks out on the lake. If we are in the area again, we will definitely stay there again. The host was nice and prompt with answers to our questions. A nice restaurant within the community too”

”The apartment was everything we hoped… bright, clean, spacious and well-appointed. The owners were wonderful… available and always willing to help. Can’t wait to return next year.”

”Issues with damp linens, uneven floors, and unpleasant shower, but the parking situation was horrible. Lastly, and most critically, the parking situation is not ideal and was not explained thoroughly enough. After our first entry to the parking pad, we made a multi-point turn to get out of the residence, since we didn't see any way to pull around, and turned left from the pad into the alleyway. We didn't realize that alley wasn't a throughfare and had items from other properties in the way,...

”The stay was for our 50 Anniversary not for a 90 minute presentation. I should have look at the fine print did not sign up for presentation. Disappointed in that part of the trip but the staff was wonderful. Please tell customers in advance about this.”

”The house is just as shown in the pictures. I was a little disappointed that there was no Ms Pacman video game, but that didn't ruin our stay. Communication was excellent. I would recommend this house to others. ”

”We had such a wonderful time! The location was absolutely beautiful and so peaceful. The house was very comfortable and clean making it easy to just relax. Note to future renters - the property and it's amenities have been greatly loved. The peddle boat rudder wasn't working, one of the kayaks was cracked and leaking, hot tub never got up to temperature, several nails were popping up out of the deck which had several loose boards and splinters, and the kitchen needed some work as the knobs were...

If you want to see the weather from the window...

"This hotel was half empty and they gave us a room with the view to the brick wall, even we stayed there for three nights. The bed was good. Next time when visiting Newport News, I'll take my business elsewhere. "
